Question: what are the three PTC Heating Elements used for? The Ultrasonic Nebuliser generates the fog. The fan blows the fog/mist up the opening. What do the heating elements do? Thank you.
The heating elements ensure that the water vapor doesn't just rise straight up and fall back down. Due to the heat, the water vapor rises like smoke from a real fire, making the image appear like realistic flames.
@@Relockto Amazing video. Congrats! A questions regarding heating elements: do You know what the temperature is when the plates are heated? And why did you choose the 110-degree version and not, for example, 80 or 220?
I've been wondering for a while how the Mystfire or Dimplex work. Thank you very much for the information and the process. But why do you need the heater?
Thank you very much Thomas for your question. The power supply has 12 and 24 volts. so you can use both variants. But if you only have a 12v power supply, you have the option of using a 12v fogger but you have a 24v fogger than use now a converter.
Best video on the components required to bulid a water vapor fire on TH-cam thanks
😮i have to build one! First remake of those over expensive optimyst that looks like real flames!
Looks great 👍 and you found a nice housing/case for it .The tube is a great idea
Wow..... That you can build something so good for little money! Very nice!👍👍👍
super project

@@Relockto Makes sense. I'm going to make one. Thank you for the video and links for materials.

Thanks for your comment! The heater is needed for the realistic flames. Otherwise it's just a mist that falls down quickly.
Bought all parts, but the Humidifier is 24 volts, do i need a boost converter or something?
