Arthur Nery is one of the most underrated and underappreciated male singer here in my opinion. He is actually a good friend of Ken from SB19 and there was a time when Ken covered this song and their voices sounded soooooo similar to the point that sone fans created a challenge where both Ken and Arthur sang this song and they had to guess who was singing because they sounded way too similar. Edit: I mean Arthur’s other song Higa lol
Kuya Arthur was one of my jamming partners in high-school, and I would say na he didn't have the capacity to maintain his vocal stability especially his falsetto way way back. Pero we're so much proud seeing how he developed and honed his talent. CDO REPRESENT ✨
I totally agree with what you guys said about us Filipinos being more in favor of the live performances rather than the studio recording because from my point of view and from what I’ve seen with myself and the people around me, we usually download or prefer listening to the live performances and the different covers. My brothers saved songs are mostly songs from the wish bus and the different songs or covers for example from Agsunta and other live sessions. And it’s actually also because we discover some songs through places like the wish bus and other live sessions or things that go viral which goes to show how much we love live music. Lastly, I can say we like live versions better cuz in my opinion, most of the time, the live versions are better HAHAHAHHAA.

I think the fact that filipino singers dont usually use auto tune makes most of them good singers and for that matter their talent becomes more relevant and they may discover some new technique or way of singing. Its like an experimental journey on vocal possibilities. I hope everybody should rely first on their inate talents rather than what technology can offer to them.

This has me interested in a Filipino artist again after such a very long time. The last one was KZ Tandingan. This guy sounded so good. Waleska is right. His voice is like edgy and raw but also so refine? Gorgeously melodic but also quite cool.

It was only recent that we start to accept lip syncing. Back then, it's somehow a sin or a disappointment if a singer lip syncs in a live performance. Their singing ability is suddenly in question if they lip sync.
Before watching the reaction videos of these two, I already appreciates the artists they feature but hearing the explanation about technicalities of the artists singing, my appreciation and admiration to artists bring up a notch. 💯

I've been to his mall tour last month, and if you think this is GOOD his live-live performance and voice is so damn GREAT. He also moves a lot while singing and hitting those damn falsetto, this man right here is unstoppable. And his little dance on stage is so cuteeeeeeee. Dang. He is a great performer.

Totally agree with your comment about live versions being better! For some reason, the live versions always sound better than the recorded ones.
