This song was for the one you love who passed away, when you translate the title on english Binhi (Binibining naka higa) which means "lady lying down" thats why if you translate "ilang araw ng nakahiga, tuluyan na nga ba ako'y yung nilisan kahit saglit pwede bang mahawakan" which means "several days has past by but your still lying down (in the conffin)and asking if he will be left forever and requesting if he can hold her for one last time." Sorry for my english😅
Zack Tabudlo is also a great singer, songwriter. Zack wrote great songs. I love them all..Arthur is another great singer. This song sounds lovely. I can listen to it when I stroll on the beach...
His live performance of the song 'Pagsamo' on the Wish awards show is perfect. His song 'Isa Lang' is also equally wonderful. I have never been in love, nor have I been heartbroken, but this man makes me feel emotions that are foreign to me, that's how excellent he is emotionally and technically.
This song was my introduction to Arthur. Was the best introduction for me in my humble opinion. Cotton Candy is definitely one to react to. Definitely find the version where he was doing a jam session with a bunch of other people around him. I think you'd enjoy that version of Cotton Candy a whole lot.

Nery was born in Cagayan de Oro City to a musical family. Both of his parents were singers. The first time he performed in public was when he was eight years old, where he sang "Fly Me to the Moon" for a cousin's debut party. Even so, a career in music was never considered by Nery at the time.
As one of the 1% of Filipinos who can’t sing, what I know growing up is everyone around me had amazing singing voices. But they don’t train professionally. It’s just us hanging out together with friends and family every time we can, laughing, singing (them), and eating (me). Growing up in the 80s, we really didn’t have organized sports like here in the US. But that’s ok, because we loved making “tambay” (hanging out) with our friends. Someone will bring a guitar and start playing (someone somehow always knew how to play a guitar) and everyone will just start singing. I did too… when I’m sugar high. Also, for some reason, kids are always made to perform. In school, family events, neighborhood festivals…. Hell, we even had to do it at work (like a Xmas competition among departments). For us, nothing beats hanging out with family and friends.
So glad you were able to give Arthur a try. I love his Tiktok Live or Jam sessions. How naturally effortless it is for him to go up and down the scale.
