UPUAN is "chair" in English (sometimes "silya"), which comes from the root word, "upo" which is "sit/to sit" in English. The song refers to those who are seated in power, politicians in general. The rap verses tell the different stories of the plight of the poor and ends it with calling out those seated in power to give attention to the people suffering from rising poverty, implying that they are focused on less important things or even engaged in corruption. That's why it is sung/rapped with passion, frustration and anger. For the ska/reggae song, I am not familiar but it is a message about staying away from drugs and doing better in life.
