Am I the only one who think kerry king would be a stronger player if he didn't have his guitar dangling to his knees he makes it look uncomfortable for him to play
It would be epic to see Marty Friedman with Dave Mustaine and Chris Broderick on stage, two of the best guitarists of Megadeth on stage! : Marty Friedman and Chris Broderick
Nobody has been able to accurately play Chris Poland's solo's since he left the band (including Marty). I was commending Broderick for actually being able to play them well.
Here's one thing I don't get, Dave Mustaine refuses to play at a show with two black metal bands, yet he's willing to work and perform with Kerry King, a man with anti-religous views whose responsible for all of Slayer's anti-religous songs. And yes I know that Kerry was a member of Megadeth before he and Jeff (R.I.P) formed Slayer, but that doesn't explain why Dave is still wiling to work with him.
Princess Sparkle slayer are an earlier band than 'deth, so that part of what you wrote isn't true. to the main part of yr question, i think dave wouldn't pull that stunt again, he was at a more 'extreme' part of his journey then, having gotten clean and thanking God for that. but, his views were certainly not more extreme than the two offended satanic bands, rotting christ and, i think it was, dissection? they too were extremely religious, in a way that was antagonistic toward the faith that Dave credited for saving him in more ways than one. slayer are different. their music generally doesn't have any ideology (and it's worth noting that tom araya is devoutly catholic). they write "about" dark stuff, not advocating anything. tom writes about serial killers (not advocating for them), jeff wrote about war and war atrocities mostly, kerry about satan and antireligion. kerry, an atheist (not a satanist) says he would write about God instead of Satan, but it isn't as fun or doesn't work as well.
Princess Sparkle Anti-religion and Satanism are two completely different things. Opposition to organized religion (like my beliefs) are a far cry from actively worshiping Satan. Arroyo is a Catholic, BTW, and he still sung King's and Hanneman's lyrics.
Princess Sparkle Who cares really....If you like hearing the songs that's all that matters really....I personally can care less who he associates with because of his religion or not.
Slayer is just an atheistic band who have written some anti-religious/satanic songs, but ultimately are just atheists. Also, Dave goes way back with Kerry King. Thats a lot different than playing with some random (ie no past between them) fully satanic and anti-christian bands, especially right after being saved. Besides, hes playing with him, hes not playing with the objectionable songs.
Goabnb94 Tom Araya (Slayer's vocalist) is a devoted Catholic. But he and Dave Mustaine do not get along. As far as Kerry's atheism, he has said his lyrics aren't anti-Christian, but that the 'Satanic' perspective fits better with the band's music than God-centered lyrics (he thinks both entities are BS).
I always thought that Al Pitrelli did a good job of playing all the guys solos. Not saying that Broderick doesn't, because he does too. Broderick and Friedman seem to have similar styles, and similar paths when it comes to Megadeth.
in retrospect, I can hear some resemblance between early Deth and Slayer Show No Mercy...this track reminds me a tad of 'The Final Command'....rock on!
@wpstudart500 I disagree completely. Broderick doesn't have the vibrato that Poland does. If you actually knew the first two megadeth albums instead of just assuming that he plays it the same you'd realize that Poland is the most under rated megadeth player there is. Poland has also been playing longer which means he has more experience and you give me one piece of work Broderick has done that comes close to Good mourning, Black friday or return to metolopolis.
The songs he doesn't play anymore are The Conjuring and Anarchy in the UK. Looking Down The Cross is ok, because it's just basically a song about Jesus' point of view on the cross..

Dave doesn't count Metallica as big four lol I agree
"MARTY FRIEDMAN?! Marty Friedman? marty friedman..."
If Kerry stayed in Megadeth
No one on the face of this planet headbangs gayer than Broderick.
props to Shawn. he handled that song great on the drums!
That nigga popped out the cut lmao
you know you're a fan when the radio station announces Vic and the Rattleheads are coming to town
That was amazing
I always thought that Al Pitrelli did a good job of playing all the guys solos. Not saying that Broderick doesn't, because he does too. Broderick and Friedman seem to have similar styles, and similar paths when it comes to Megadeth.
whatever he feels? the man is playing all his solos flawless
A voz do dave toda fudida
Seriously i can say.... Kerry cannot play with megadeth.... Because he is too SLAYER
im so happy for dave he is the greatest person you could ever meet rattle your god dam head
I loved Kerry's enterance
in retrospect, I can hear some resemblance between early Deth and Slayer Show No Mercy...this track reminds me a tad of 'The Final Command'....rock on!
1:05 ''Marty fridmen?:(..Marty fridmen?:(..Marty fridmen?:(..''
Hahahaha
Quick hug, and separate ways :). Kerry's Fucken Awesome!! And Dave's The Fucken King!!
Everything is awesome but the drumming. Drover was a great drummer but lacked any feel and he’s definitely not playing this correctly.
