    Hi Stephen, airfrance also offer cadet program in 2023. have you heard if they are going to open their application for 2024?

      I haven’t heard anything so far. My guess is since it was announced around June 2023, we could expect something similar this year.

    Hi guys, i just want to share with you guys that some of the info is rather innacurate. Pilotkaki is an outdated source.
    The entire process can take between 4 months to over a year, per my sources. Its not a fully funded program, Singapore airlines will cover the upfront cost, but you repay a portion of the cost following your posting out, over the next few years. Deducted from your salary.

      Thanks for sharing the information you have. If you have more information about the program, kindly share it.

      @@stephenav8I've got connection with people who are currently applying for an inside the cadet program. From beginning (application) to end (magic call), the average duration now is around 1 to 1.5 years.
      Repayment of your loan (the upfront cost is officially a loan from SQ, you need guarantors for up to 250k iirc) is about 90 to 100k sgd, deducted form salary over the course of 7 to 8 years.

      From what I know, according to the contract you sign with them, you're liable for the incurred costs if you drop out. If you fail at the end, you're liable for the whole 150k cost. Sia have the ability to wave the repayment.

    • @Haryz217
      @Haryz217 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’ve been selected for the interview, and all i can say is, you will see other candidates there who possess a degree. And they will have a competitive advantage.
      If you are someone who does not have flying experience whatsoever, It is Highly recommended that you take up Any Recognised Aviation/Aeronautical/ Aerospace engineering related degrees. This will then show the Interviewers that you display high interest and passion in that field, and that you know your stuffs.
      As it is a highly competitive Programme, you will definitely need to stand out among the rest. A good GPA will help you alot, as this will make the interview slightly easier instead of being grilled with questions pertaining your performance leading up to that GPA.
      Another way would be, to have working experience in any related field, that exposes you to aviation, one where you’ll have opportunities to mix around with people in the aviation community and gain some insider Pilot Knowledge.
      Do read up on SIA fleet and what are their future plans. Also read up on the basic Aeronautical knowledge that a pilot should know, such as aerodynamics, meteorology, Airspace classification and etc
      This is not a guarantee that will get u selected for the program, but it does definitely help you alot.
      At the end of the day, its a combination of what you bring to the table, and how well you present yourself.
      Wishing you All best brother/sister, and anyone reading this comment who will be going for the interview, or those who aspire to join. May the odds ever be in your favour 🫡
