I am a practicing Buddhist,I found that teaching of Christ is wonderful.I have picture of him on my altar next to The Buddha statue.I regard Christ as one of my Bodhisattawa.If most of us follow Jesus Christ or the Buddha's teaching we will not have endless war,killing and fighting and man created suffering . In July 2008, I was in Zakynthos, Greece with my dad and we stayed there for a week. It's a lovely place but the weather was really hot and I got badly sunburned. It was very painful. Anyway we enjoyed our stay in Greece and we are the tourists from Ireland.

God is everywhere not just in one religion and i like to think that just one religion is not the ULTIMATE religion but just a piece, and that as long as you have god in your heart it doesn't matter what language or place your religion is from. i hope i have not caused disrespect to anyone
i was watching end of the world stuff and remebered that day of new years at church when the priest said that nothing will happen. this always makes me happy and makes me think that jesus is here to protect us from all evil
My mother's house is only a few blocks from a Greek orthodox church. As a child I was too frustrated to take to time to understand the different between the eastern and western orthodox beliefs. (The Greek Byzantine heals my aspects of my soul!) my faith was reward by our lord Jesus Chirst.. But it left me neither a christian nor a buddist but something in between.

***** Christianity made me content with my laziness and made me focus on pleasing other people rather than thinking about myself. I had the constant idea that if I fuck up there will always be a way out. It made my life worse. I'm now a Norse Heathen which values hard work deeds over forgiveness and prayer. I need to work for my spot in the afterlife and it's actually working, my grades have gotten better and I've even started a diet. Also one of the biggest parts is that christianity made me fear death and I was always so paranoid. Where as in Heathenism we embrace death, there is no fear. This idea of embracing death has helped me take more risks and have a more fulfilling life.
***** I know that calling myself a heathen makes me sound like an edge lord but the thing is I don't tell anyone unless they ask. It's more like I'm agnostic but I follow the beliefs of Heathenism.

I went to a Sunday service on Santorini, no pews (I'm not orthodox) but all of the interiors of these churches had pews. Is this something new? that naked Truth...its somthing that we cant describe in english or any other language. our religious institutions have simplified it for us, but they don't do it justice. no words can. no words can do God justice. if someone wants to worship the Source of All things in Love and Devotion, i dont care how they do it. as long as they do it. there are so many people who dont, that im just grateful when i find someone who does.
