Thank you Mike for posting... Mike Tyson's statement, "you survived the war," hit me to the core! I have family members that loathe me because I lived through an illness from a very rare artery disorder usually found during Autopsy at the age of 39. After 13 yrs in a hospital bed & 10 grueling surgeries to reconstruct & repair my digestive system, my case is a medical testimony that has helped save millions of lives. And 5 1/2 years ago I came back with a vengeance! I'm 56 years old and more healthy & athletic than when I was 25! Being healthy is the greatest blessing anyone could ask for & receive. And believe me, without your health, you are nothing! I gave it to God, the Almighty Teacher! I wasn't a very good person and did a lot of bad things till the age of 39 when I became ill. But I paid my penance for all my wrongdoings, and God heard my cry & made me new. With that being said, we all need God to lead our lives. It's not talking the talk. It's walking the walk with our Lord Jesus leading us through everything we do. And acknowledging, we only made it through all it by putting all of our faith in Him.
Love Mike! Bless him. I used to stay up late back in the uk to watch the tyson fights in the 80s with my father. We were both huge fans of the D’Amato and tyson relationship. My dad taught me to box when I was young because I was bullied at school. And I got stronger.. And soon enough I set the bullies straight and got respect. And no one ever messed with me again. Both your stories are a great inspiration to me. God bless you too. 🙏🏽❤️

Hi Michael. I am an Italian-American, I lived in the US when I was little, in NYC... now I am back in Italy since 96'. I just wanna tell you how inspirational you are, not for being part of the mob, but because of what you say about that time, your family, your kids, your wife... You don't praise your past, you explain it and make it understandable to people that only think of the mob in a movie kind of way. My personal heroes are Paolo Borsellino, Giovanni Falcone and all the other people who fought cosa nostra and died doing that, but seeing your life-ark and how you turned around made me understand at 36, watching your podcasts, that not everyone in the mob has to be like that, they have a soul and can come around if put in the right direction. You gave me such a good insight into something that I have always detested (but studied for years) and thought I knew very well. I am not a religious person, but I really believe something far greater than life touched your soul and made you a messenger of life. I know you will never come to Italy, you explained that, but damn it... we would really need someone like you to give us a POV that would make understanding la mafia much easier. This is such a sensitive topic as an Italian, I hope you get what I am trying to tell you. Be good, Michael... a big fan of yours from Milano.

One of, if not, the best interviews ever. Thank you.
Mike’s you’re both better today because your honest to yourselves and others. Great series would love to meet you both, love to you both. I know millionaires and never ask them for anything. I am still their friends others that ran with us are gone because they tried to take advantage of them. I treat everyone the same way. GOD BLESS!
Absolute blessing to be able to listen to Micheal talking and sharing his valuable life experiences! 💯
Having that mentor can make all the difference . Key thing he said;”Something told me to listen to this man.” Being teachable…
I've been watching you since 2016. Great content. Thank you. Love from Poland:)
That part was deep, "being my friend",/ to me it was ignoring their faults, cause it was them, the world doesn't exist, but friends have to have boundaries, and respect.
