      @Ricky Moore I am 2 months late to your comment but I had to respond to it. You might be right ,most of these rappers can't spell tyranny ,but at the same time most of these rappers can buy and sell you and your whole family .So does it really matter if they can't spell tyranny🤔 ? Floyd Mayweather used to be accused of being dumb and can't spell but this man can walk around with a backpack full of money and ride around in million dollar cars .So I have to say this , there's nothing wrong with being educated ,but if you can make it through life without an education and become rich there's nothing wrong with that because I rather be a dumb guy with a hundred million dollars in the bank than to be an educated person with student loan debts and barely making it month to month. I'm speaking from personal experience because I know what it's like to be a little uneducated with a lot of money to being educated with no money I have more fun when I was Dumb and had money🙂

    One of the most difficult things to do is to convince a young person that crime doesn't pay. Ice-T has it down to a science. Even back in the old school days of hip-hop, his records never glorified crime. Songs like, "Pain," and "6 In The Morning" always showed the consequences of the game. Those who came after Ice-T missed that incredible formula. Hats off to him. This was one of the best episodes of this TH-cam show and that's saying something because this is a great channel.

    • @Tarantulisimo
      @Tarantulisimo ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Coming up in LA in the '70s, going to the military in the early '80s, & becoming famous by the mid '80s &'90s, I'm 1000% sure he experimented here & there along his journey with a drink or a line or a puff -- And I'm sure he's probably relaxed with some wine after a production wrap or at dinner with his wife...but people want to draw a line between that simple social indulgence & being a drunk or a junkie, so the way to differentiate is to say he's never drank or gotten high ever, then that becomes part of a persona. It's like if you are in a job interview & the ask you if you drink or if the police pull you over & ask if you've been drinking, you know that if you say "yes" then you are perceived as a drunk. Gene Simmons & Ted Nugent both claim to have never ever had a drink or taken drugs, which I also find hard to believe -- but as a rock star, the last thing you want is to be labeled an addict simply for acknowledging that you experimented

    I've been listening to Ice-T since the late 80's. It's been something watching him come from those beginnings to where he is now. Back then you could never imagine a rapper, especially one doing gangsta rap, reaching the kind of heights that he has in a variety of ways. Ice-T is a really positive force IMO. Real inspirational.

      He who liveth by the sword shall be stucketh. Society that tolerates a gang mentality, whether street level or at the governmental level, will always descend into chaos. Freedom will erode. Ms-13 nearly destroyed El Salvador. Gangs in California thrive because of the permissiveness of the people in California. Ice T said " never take no for an answer".
