    I meant to say Desert X 2021 in the intro, not 2020, haha. Apparently, I can't remember what year it is. Sorry!

    That was very interesting. Thanks for sharing. It made it more interesting because we sort of know our way around the area because we have family down in the desert.

    Josh & Amy. My husband and I are moving to the Fresno area in a couple months. We have watched all your videos to learn more about California. My husband is from Pasadena, CA and I am from Massachusetts. We would love to see you film around the Fresno area if you can. But no matter what, keep doing what your doing!!

    Fantastic! I'm hoping to be able to go see it. I'll be in Joshua Tree in a couple of weeks, but just won't have time to visit this, too. I loved at the beginning when you commented on how beautiful the desert landscape is. I feel the same way. When my sister visited a few years ago, & I commented on the beautiful landscape, she asked, "what do you find beautiful? Because all I see is dirt & rocks." It's kind of hard to explain the beauty of the desert, but the beauty is definitely there! Good video!

      I agree, it is like a stark beauty in the desert, different from other landscapes but still very beautiful!

    Thank you for this! We went a couple years ago while visiting my uncle in Indian Wells, but otherwise would not have known about it. We saw that it might be on for this year, but wasn't sure. Now we know more what to expect, and how to plan :) Great footage!

    Great video. Yeah, that walk up to ParaPivot is a workout. If you bought that empty lot, it should come with the sculpture instead of tearing it down in May. It would be a good place to sling a hammock and drink a beer.

    So this will sound crazy but I remember there was 1 more Desert X exhibit which is now completely GONE from the Desert X map. I forget the artist’s name or what the art was titled but I believe they took it off the map perhaps because someone maybe damaged or stole the art? I know this for a fact because I had gone to it’s location and couldn’t find anything. All I saw was a big “X” painted in white on the concrete of a center divider.
    Anyway, awesome video, man! 👏🏻👌🏻

    Seems rather meh this year, glad you did this so I don't have to drive over to check it out haha. Gas price is getting ridiculous in socal.
    Not sure if you seen it, but I think it was either 2017 or 2018 the mirror house near the Palm Spring Tram was pretty epic. Probably my favorite Desert X exhibit ever.

      Loved it in 2019, some superbloom, too. I think your vlog info was how I initially heard about it. Surprised they held it this year. I thought Palm Springs was rather disenchanted about the whole concept.

    I can't tell if the "North Face GUCCI tent" is trolling it's own Instagram followers or if even the event sponsors didn't notice their irony.

    • @bradbodnick
      @bradbodnick ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you call it? An installation art is not installed. Art is created and as far as artists concerned, this hot garbage is nothing more than liberal puke. This is what happens when untalented meets liberal thoughts?

    The Indian Land exhibit is perceived as a political statement from a disgruntled native. Not art.

    • @bradbodnick
      @bradbodnick ปีที่แล้ว

      That's okay because not one bit of this is art. To begin with, it's just liberals and they're rhetoric. They think George Floyd is some kind of hero
