super underrated bro! That was some solid game play! easy sub! Just went with a Polarstar build myself. Can't wait to try it out. I'm at work and therefore can't really crank up the audio. Where is this field? I'm in Virginia so most of our fields are outdoors and a good drive away. Would love to find a larger CQB field. There's one where i work in Manassas but its packed, tight quarters CQB
Thanks man! Welcome to the fam! What polarstar engine did you end up going with? And this is actually in Houston, TX its called Evike Highground. Pretty big CQB field and our go to these days considering its like 30 minutes from me hahah lucky me huh. We dont really have a good outdoor field here though so were def lacking in that department down here!
@@supaairsoft Polarstar Kythera. I'm converting a AEG donor to a GBB hopup unit paired to a Kythera w/ a CO2 33g polarstar buffer tub conversion. HPA performance, in an AEG package with a GBB feel. Trying to find a good balance of performance and Milsim feel. Most guys out here run HPA cus our outdoor feilds are so massive that you really gotta dial an AEG to get any decent range performance. or to go through leaves and small branches.
@@cortlundtowell5252 That sounds insane! Definitely one of the more unique builds. I gotta tell my buddy about this, cause thats pretty sweet and might be right up his alley. And you can dial in the FPS still or are you locked into the Co2 carts psi?
@@supaairsoft The polarstar buffer tube mod allows adjustment from 50 to 150 psi i believe. You can buy a valve from them too to up the max to 200 psi. I didn't bother with that cus it would be too hot for the fields here and I'm trying to keep it 450 shots plus a cartridge. But I've seen some similar builds get 650 a cartridge. Thats why I'm doing the GBB hopup conversion. Supposedly its more efficient than using a AEG as its oriented around conserving gas to maximize cycling efficiency. The Kythera doesn't have a gas bolt to cycle like that so I'm hoping the efficiency will correlate to more shots per cartridge instead as well has better fps to gas wasted.
I have been trying to get into HPA for a while now and don't know where to start. I have been looking on Hopup and have found a few but I don't know if they are good options. I have also been looking on Amped Airsoft and don't know if I should buy the gun and hpa engine separately or get them pre-installed.
@@Kyt6-Air if you know what you’re doing, are willing to learn a thing or two, and can also make the necessary mods to an AEG when converting it to an HPA powered gun then buy the engine and install it yourself. I have a video coming out in a few days where I do just that, to my friends new aeg and go over the pros and cons with this approach. If you want something that just works out the box then go with an amped pre build!
