- You thought Grand Design was done bringing the A game with the Solitude model's? Well, you were most definitely wrong! Take a look at this beautiful 2019 Grand Design RV Solitude 375RES! You are going to have an insane amount of storage in this beauty, with the extra wide storage in the back, 800lb capacity sliding storage for easy access for all your camping needs, with the extra storage on the sides and the front to neatly organize things, almost like organizing your garage this is a lot like it! If your a snow bird this is something to show off in the beautiful Arizona, California anywhere! You have the luxury of cooking either indoors or outdoors, with a full size camp kitchen to have easy access for your nightly fish fry's from that day's catch or just a nice place to cook a good camping meal, instead of having to run back and forth into your new fifth wheel, you have the luxury of a kitchen sink to make sure you have water to fill your pot, or if you get thirsty! I don't know about you, but camping over the summer i always found with the fridges you don't have enough space for left over's or fruit really anything in the smaller fridges, well, don't stop looking there, you have the upgraded 18 Cubic FT double door fridge ! So you don't have to worry about running out of space with this fridge! You have a full entertaining room in the back to show off that you can hide your TV to enjoy the view, yes that is right! The TV hides for easy storage and for when your packing up to go home from your vacation! The back living room, 2 of the couches fold down into beds if you do have the grand kid's staying with you or guests as well! You will have loads of counter space, storage as well for all your camping needs! That floorplan is absolutely fantastic! I love the pass-through storage too! The one thing I would love to see here is less brown. White, off-white, shell or light gray, with slate colored accents and back splash would be gorgeous! This really is a nice unit!
Dominique, you should check out the redesigned Solitude. It now has all the colours you’ve described.
This is the one we have been waiting for! My husband and I both have Peripheral Neuropathy so we have to keep our feet up whenever possible and with this fifth wheel, we will be able to do so! Love everything in this unit! Thanks, SCOOTER
I love these 5th wheels unfortunately I don't have the truck for it, I have looked everywhere for something, tiny house, ice castles oh my god, live in Saskatchewan need a rv that will stand up for a few years of constant living until house is built. U guys are the only ones who sell grand design that is close by, thank U for ur videos!

all these dark colors - make it more homelike- white trim work - use switch plates that match the walls -jazz it up - the black rim on the windows (geez)
We have this camper - love it! The 4 storage doors open down rather than up. Haven't seen that on other 375 res videos. 🤔 I see the entry door does not overlap the storeage door like ours does, good they fixed that!

mommy2kdk, thank you for your comment. Accessories are a great way to help brighten up the interior and add your own personal style to the inside of any RV. GD also offers a lighter interior furniture color called Linen. Although the darker Java color depicted in the video is the preferred choice by most people we talk to, the Linen color option has become popular amongst people who prefer a lighter feel.

373fb one of my favorite floorplans, 379fls is reverse of the res and has no maga rear storage, unless you get the 374th then theres maga storage.

ThinkingAboutIt !!!, great comment! On the contrary to what it may look like in the video. The pullout camp kitchen is extremely stable. The slide mechanism is manufactured by MORryde. They are known in the industry for building high quality steel accessories such as pin boxes, suspension systems, TV mounts etc. MORryde specifically designed the pullout kitchen in conjunction with Grand Design and it has been a really big hit with our customers. Do you offer twin beds in master? Can dining table replaced with a fold down dinette. Major need for lots of sleeping room
For me it's either this rig or the Momentum 376TH so that i have the garage but I do like this rig more.

Will a stock 2018 F350 Superduty without dually tow this?
It will depending on your configuration/gvw package. Definitely need the diesel. Cops are getting tough of gvwr. This would put you awful close. I also have an 18' F350 crew cab short bed 4x4 diesel. The pin weight on this is 2900lbs. The hitch is about another 300lbs. My truck the way it is configured and with the options has a payload capacity of just under 3700lbs. So full of fuel and the two of us we are just a couple hundred pound under being legal. I weight my truck and full of fuel with two of us in it showed the rear axle at 3180lbs and the rear axle is rated for i think 7280. Its not good to run for real long distances maxed out but it can pull it.

Every one of them, this is nice, that is nice this does this nice, this manufacture did this nice. "Has a nice sink, nice paint, nice this and that" LMFAO. I'd pay an extra 5k for a dealership to NOT use the word nice once!

Justin Pecora, thank you for your question. Unfortunately there isn’t a 2nd bath option available in the 375RES. However, GDRV does offer a 1 1/2 bath floor plan in the 373FB. At the very front of the trailer there is a double sink vanity and walk-in closet. Nicest front bath in the industry. Where is the fuse box located?
Colleen Godwin, thank you for your question. The fuse and breaker box is located behind the lower right side cabinet door of the hutch beside the entry door.

A residential look and a residential feel. Just not, residential. And by the way, tubing, by definition is hollow, or, it wouldn't be tubing now would it sport?
Why the hell is it 2018, these things have been around for several decades, and they STILL put this drab brown interior in them?! I like brown, but omfg they're always SATURATED with dark browns!! It's incredibly boring. Someone get out of the damn 60s and 70s and Make an interior that is brighter and not so damn boring!
This color of brown has shown back up. The industry follows home trends. We've seen creams, greys, white washed oak, oak, cherry, dark brown high gloss, light brown high gloss, dark brown with little grain, light brown with little grain, matte finish and of course this poo brown with a matte finish in the RV industry. Of course this poo brown and similar shades were a staple in the industry for generations before 90s when they started following home trends thanks to new UV protection for the wood and faux wood treatments. Demand for new colors has also driven the a lot of change. Especially post 9/11 when more and more families decided to hit the road rather than fly.
In the next couple years we'll see a switch back to whites and white washed oak.

Now that I’ve been “initiated” in buying new... boy do I know what to look for. Why no whisper quiet air? That is not good in living area. I see wrapped wood in this unit. That’s garbage. It doesn’t stand up to one year of use. Those colours are WAAAAY too dark. The Lino looks really cheap. That’s just to start. You have to sit in the couches and recliners with a critical behind because ours are supposed to be lazy boy and they are complete crap. We couldn’t even use the couch the way it was. The cheapest foam inside the cushions. Like sitting on a marshmallow and would not stand up to use. So be careful everyone. Looking nice initially doesn’t mean much. Never be over impressed. I like this lay out but for the price being over $100K plus, you could buy a small mobile home. They charge way too much for these things. Way too much. AND THIS IS HUGE... make sure the service department has a stellar reputation. You’re going to need them to be honest, dependable, quickly responding and fixing things that aren’t right. If the service department doesn’t get rave reviews, don’t buy there! Not ever. Because you WILL need them to be dependable. That’s a guarantee.
For $ 100,000 plus this rig is missing so much, you need to look at Augusta RV and there Ambition for the same money , now that camper is worth the money,. You still have the old style AC in this thing, floors are linoleum, they are all hand layed in the Ambition. This thing has features my $50,000 5 th. Wheel has

You need to look at Augusta RV again they no longer do the Ambition. Still a super awesome RV but they only do the Luxe.

grand design is garbage..i looked at four differemt models recently..had trim hanging down, speakers hanging from the ceiling from the wires, carpet was loose..just not well made.
