Before founding UBI, Earth should be cleaned from useless slaves that spend valuable resources (98-99% of population). That was a plan of the planet owners.
With mass production the prices will drop even more, that's why i calculate the first world gonna be "full" of androids in 2030. They will be as common as Segways, and for 2035 as common as motorcycles.
All I’m interested in is universal basic income. I don’t know why most people have a problem with it? People are so obsessed with working that have lost all perspective there being more to life than work. This will be the most cataclysmic change ever experience by humanity, from working to not working to actually doing things out of love, curiosity, inspiration, and passion.
Tesla definitely has a big upper hand from a money, manufacturing and experience perspective. It might not be the best selling robot ever but I think it will be close
You say these are the prices, but then assume a single year(365 days) when calculating the daily cost. If this is a yearly rental that would make sense, but if this is a purchased product then you need to take into acount how many years it will last. I would assume at least 5 years, which would reduce the daily cost by 5 times.
I mean..... if you're going to try to sell us on the idea of robots maybe..... avoid using footage of them just spontaneously falling over? And obviously doing so frequently enough that there was someone already there to catch it? (As in they knew it was probably going to happen and planned for it?) I'm already sold on the idea by the way. Very much want a domestic version.

Yes, cheaper will come later..... new tech is always expensive at first ... because the rich will buy the early ones and pay a lot for it which will finance the upgrades and then the price will come down as mass production gets large.
But think about how many people buy news cars and trucks, which cost much more than most of these robots. Three Optimus for the price of a new Ford pickup, despite all the R&D put into it and the complexity. Shows you how ridiculously over priced vehicles are.
Some of them are doable. I mean..... you'll pretty much drop 20-25k on a used car these days if you want one that will do things like start..... 75-200k is just way too much yes. Boston Dynamics unfortunately never has really been one for making consumer products. :(

Very soon.

No that version of Boston Dynamics robot is definitely not hydrolic. It's electric. The older version was hydrolic.
I can't believe the EngineAI is real.
infinite money glitch soon
And some people still think AI won't replace practically every job. Sand, meet head.
What's the song playing in the first minute? Plz and thanks.

The price are very wrong, for example the G01 model cost 39.000$-65.900$ but in their website is offer for 16.000$.
It was $16,000 until it wasn't.... th-cam.com/video/5nZVpFrcAz8/w-d-xo.html
The 16000$ model is basically useless. Can't be programmed. What training it comes with out of the box is all you get.

I guess we are entering a southern style antebellum society where we live in leisure with free income and robots doing all the work.
I don't understand how the daily cost is calculated. I mean 200$ per day is how?
Cost of robot / 365 = daily cost.
@@AINewsOfficial Which assumes a robot will only last 1 year, OR these are rental prices, not purchase prices.
@@NScherdin It assumes you aim to recoup your 5 figure investment within a year instead of 5 or 10 years.
When these builds are standard - multi charge plug adapting - then maybe worth the $$ .
just say'n.
Only 2 hrs of battery that sucks
