I upgraded my Nespresso Vertuo Next to this older model, the Nespresso Vertuo Plus and I’m so glad that I did. The water tank on the VertuoPlus can be rotated to either the side or towards the back. Keeping on the side makes it easier to remove and install the water tank. It also has an automatic open and close feature. There is an auto shut-off timer of 9 minutes which I did find quite long since the Vertuo Next has a much shorter 2-minute auto shut-off.
The Vertuo Plus uses Centrifusion technology, which is infusion by centrifugal force, and not the usual 19-bar high-pressure extraction system that is used for the Original Nespresso line.
The Nespresso Vertuo Plus Deluxe has an innovative brewing system that recognizes each capsule and automatically adjusts its brewing to create its signature full-bodied coffee topped with a smooth crown of crema. The machine takes roughly about 15-20 seconds to heat up before it dispenses the coffee. There is only one button on the machine which has many features built into it by pressing it a certain number of times.
Coffee and espresso sizes vary from a 40ml espresso to a 414ml Alto large cup size. There are five different cup sizes to choose from:
Espresso - 40 ml (1.35 oz)
Double Espresso - 80 ml (2.7 oz
Gran Lungo - 150 ml (5 oz)
Coffee/Mug - 240 ml (7.7 oz)
Alto - 414 ml (14 oz)

We use glass mugs as well and noticed the vibration. I feel like using a weightier ceramic mug probably makes this a non issue.

I’ve got exactly the same machine as you, but I’ve got the nespresso vertuo plus at £199 with the coffee frother separate would’ve cost, £279, but took advantage of the deal sign up to Nespresso for £179 , I got the coffee aeroccino 4 with the handle and led display on the front . I could cancel the subscription without any penalties so save myself a lot of money. Very happy. Works perfectly. Thanks for your video

@@MeemReviews Yes just got it in today and did the pre-wash and tasted my first Melozio pod and it was good. The machine was noisy but i guess they must all be like that.
I just bought this machine and I agree it’s a great machine . However I don’t have an issue with vibration. Perhaps you should insert the base more securely I don’t see how the cup can actually fall off the stand. I enjoyed your review and there were a few features I didn’t know existed Thanks for posting.

Magimix.. i'm assuming you're in the UK? The difference between the brands are the manufactueres. Here in Canada it is Breville and DeLonghi. Breville doesn't hold up as well as DeLonghi, in my opinion. DeLonghi seems more sturdy and better material quality. Can't speak for Magimix unfortunately.
thank you so much I filled the water tank pressed three times to start it for the first time .But the water is not coming out .What am I doing wrong please ?
Is the light on? Green means it's ready, red means something is wrong. Is the water tank placed correctly? Open and close the lid and try again.
What type of water do you use for your machine? We just got ours yesterday and ran the cleaning but used Crystal Geyser and it tasted very slimy. Thank you.
My fridge has a built in filter, I use that. Hopefully you were able to find something suitable.

The larger water tank and also the chrome accents... so the drip tray, the lever and the button area are Chrome plated.

It's decent, around 175-180F then I also add the hot milk and that definitely helps make it slighter hotter, 190F perhaps...

Actually Vertuo Plus is 2017 year machine, versus Vertuo Next is 2020 machine. But I’m agree that Plus is much more convenient.
