- This instrument is an E-flat alto horn made in the shape of a mini sousaphone by the Jupiter company in the 1990s as a special production run of 50 instruments. It was given to me by my good friend David Wooten, CEO of the Las Vegas Trumpet Company. It is played with a custom mouthpiece by James R. New (james-r-new.com/) which combines a 6 ½ AL trombone cup with the alto horn shank.
The song “Some Folks” was composed by Stephen Foster in 1855. This arrangement is based on Foster’s original setting as well as James Bellak’s “Some Folks Polka” (1884). - เพลง
Imagine a band made of these, soprano trombones, soprano horns, and pocket trumpets
Ok… it looks funny! Tiny low brass and tinier trumpets!
And one HUGE sousaphone
I love how the clock is on beat 🥰

The instrument is an E-flat alto horn in the shape of a sousaphone. They are no longer made so I do not know where you could find one.
What do you bet Wessex will be making q reproduction?
I searched it and found this video.
