Im 5'7" on a good day and bought a used scout sixty with the reduced reach already on. I've been wondering what I would have to change out if I go back to regular and this video was perfect! I appreciate it bro.

@@RemboUSMC I have a yamaha mt-10 but I was looking for a change and something more "comfy" while still having a badass looking bike - the scout bobber is the best looking bike in its class in my opinion.
@@Jaymeel5500 I agree, it is badass looking for sure. There is just something about it. It's an attention getter for sure.
They say you should ride the bike for a while to see what you would like to change. I rode my bike for 500 miles and swapped out the handlebars. Huge difference. I also went from a mid control bike to forward bike but I left those alone which was a smart decision. I think they are fine as is.
Im 5'8 and the controls are perfect for me, however i do have a rogue that have the higher mini apes which makes a big difference in riding position.
Only reason sometimes i think a mid control would be nice, is if im standing up on the pegs or idk maybe trying to pull up the front wheel...allegedly
Yeah, the mid controls might be nice for those situations you mentioned.

Was just wondering, after installing the reduced foot control. does the footrest stick out further? cuz it might reduce the leaning angle. I'm only 5'4"..was considering but don't want to sacrifice the leaning angle. Thanks in advance.
I actually do not remember, it may have slightly, but it’s negligible at best. If it raises it up slightly, then it reduces the lean angle. You know I still have those in my garage. Even though the bike was totaled about two years ago when I was hit head on.

These kind of videos are a time and money saver! I know you mentioned you’re about 6’ but I’m curious how long your legs are to see how these would fit? I have a 30” inseam and don’t know if these will work or not. Also, do you still have them for sale? Thank you for the video!

Hey bro was going to say that technically the bobber has reduced reach control stock you got the mid control system. I have a scout 69 and my stock controls are way forward lol 6ft
Nah, mid controls would have relocated the pegs to behind the gearbox
