i have watched a lot of videos like this one, if you focus on building muscle, according to the info i got from those videos, you need to train certain parts more times in a week to see a good result. For example, in your schedule I see legs and arms only 2 times a week (2 times because you train 1 day whole body, so I assume arms and legs too). So you'd better train arms, legs, abs, back, ...... 3-4 times a week for good results. I hope I'm giving the right info, that's what I understood after all those videos. To be sure, I advise you to look it up yourself.

I was 280 and I ran atleast 2 miles a day for about a year and a half and I got down to 190...This guy is correct, if you just run you will be hungry all the time. You can deal with it and eventually your stomach won’t hurt anymore but if you’re eating less calories than you take in you are going to feel it. Don’t let your stomach rule your world and you’ll be alright.
Wow really? I was about to give up until I read this man! I have been running 2 to 3 miles for about 1 week but I’m not seeing many results. Thank you so much for commenting this 🙏🏽
@@taniiav4200 tbh the first month of running you’ll probably feel fatter but you’ll be skinnier atleast that’s how I felt. But after a month boy are you gonna see it and feel it. You’re gonna wake up one day and have ten times the energy you use to and you’re gonna feel super thin. Then after 2 or 3 months you’re not gonna see a lot of results and then the same thing will happen at like the 3 to 4 month mark you’ll start seeing a lot of weight disappear. Idk I’m a guy and you’re a guy from reading your name and things might be a little different but I recommend just keep it up for a month and then it will just become second nature
@@taniiav4200 also running isn’t really gonna make you look defined it’s just gonna get you smaller. If you want like a perkier butt or legs or whatever you kind of have to do some strength training.
Wow, I just wrote out a 6 week plan for my self and I said ill start at 10 mins of cardio and go up my 5 minutes every week. Good to know that there is science to back it up! I think getting in the habit of working out and eating with more intention is way more important than how hard you go in the beginning. I’m learning this more and more as a reformed dieter/restrictive eater. Thanks for the video
For me, an effective method to make sure I'm increasing my difficulty in cardio is with a chest heart rate monitor. If I target the same average heart rate every workout, that means I'm going to be naturally increasing speed over time because my heart is just going to get stronger and I can tell immediately that I need to ramp up the speed when doing the same routine gives me a lower average heart rate. That means by body is well conditioned at that speed and I need to ramp it up.
We're on a journey together lets go guys first I wanna know who's with me in this 2021 goals lets go we gonna lose weight for 2021 I don't know about you but I'm so tired of being fat I can't take it anymore so it's hard work time constant working on myself

This helps alot. Explains why I am losing weight all around my body BUT NOT the ABDOMINAL section. Evan with : 1- calorie deficit diet, 2- HIIT Cardio (30 minutes morning and 10 minutes afternoon), 3 - ABB excersize three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday),4- Resistance training (Monday-Friday) and 5-lots of water during the day. I've got good Stamina so Cardio ain't a problem, but now I'm skinny fat.
omg you just made me feel so much better. i have been doing so much work trying to lose belly fat and it was actually getting slightly overwhelming. Just felt like no matter what i was doing it wasnt working but now that i think about it i have lost fat in other areas of my body.
The only thing you need is a good diet to lose weight or not gain weight. If you have to exercise to maintain your weight, that means your diet is wrong. Reduce the amount of carbs to lower than 100g a day or ideally less than 60g a day and eat animal products with animal fat. Avoid completely seed oils, nuts, beans and tofu. Coconut oil and dark chocolate in very small amounts is acceptable. You will lose weight without exercising.
Jeremy is spot on! I've lost nearly 20 pounds in about 8 weeks by working on my card, hiking, and CICO. Obviously diet is key. I've notice my metabolism is slowing down a bit now and have added some small strength exercise to compensate. Still got some pounds to lose...
February I started losing weight. I went from 236 to 181 as of June 29th. The way I started was I walked 2-3 miles a day and ate 1800 calories. Once I got used to that I increased my walks to 4 miles or 10k steps, except for thursdays and fridays where I walk 7 miles. I have thursdays as my cheat meals so to make up for it I increase my walks on the two days. As I got used to eating better I slowly decreased my calorie intake, now on average its 1500. On wednesday I have started doing 100 push ups, sit ups, and squats and in a weeks time I see a difference. Can't wait to see all the stats the scale shows me. Weight isn't too important to me as long as body fat percentage goes down to a nice range and I feel like I look good for the effort I have put in. Might even challenge myself to getting abs, for the first time of my life.
And that is exactly why many people fail their fitness goals. Watching a person that is in shape do stuff, while they are misinforming the masses on things. That should make V-Shred the best on the planet.
I've implemented these exercises and modified it a bit for myself. So what I did was put on: Backpack weighing 5kg Carrier vest weighing 3kg Helmet weighing 2kg Optional: Paintball blaster weighing 3kg unloaded And just run with all of this on. Walk, run, walk, run.
I thought I was smart. For 9 months I was doing the same lifting plan with 45 minutes on the elliptical 5 days per week and got stuck at the same weight. I didn't let myself "give up" when I should have but when I finally broke I had a cheat day that turned into a week, then two weeks and then a month and gained back 25 pounds. It took me 3 more months to realize I needed to restart my metabolism. I cut out all cardio and increased calories to match TDEE, and now I'm 4 weeks into my gradual plan. Just lifting alone I'm 17 pounds closer to where I was, and in two weeks I'm adding cardio for the remaining 6 weeks. This video definitely makes me feel confident in my plan. I had already lost 100lbs but dammit I want to be 10% body fat (I started at 34%).
This is probably one of the highest caliber fitness videos I have seen. This is great during times like these. One day, me and the bois will compare our before and after physiques when we meet again after quarantine. :)
That’s the most accurate and honest explanation for fat burning and i do this routine everytime i gaine extra weight and its work very well for me .. keep up the good work

Do cardio until the weight comes off and don't eat like an asshole. Keep doing this and do not give up until you are lighter. There ya go. I found burning 1k calories through working out and deducting my diet by 500 calories a day made the weight fall off. It is as simple as that. Just be conscious to what you put in your body. When I lost 185lbs I literally ate one meal a day to help prevent overeating because people who dont count calories are guaranteed to overeat.
My goal is to run a marathan at the end of April 2023. I'm about 40 pounds overweight and had major abdominal surgery 5 weeks ago. I'm so scared but this goal to lose the weight/lean out/ and run a marathon feels like the beginning of my new life.
Lately I do an hour of weight lifting and an hour of cardio after early in the morning. It also helps that I work as a package handler at a FedEx warehouse and I feel that I burn a lot of calories already from that as well. It’s helped me lose 8 pounds so far this month and I hope to keep losing more. This video helped a lot!
great job at owning up to your mistakes. Don't allow Greg's new video to bring you down because yes he's right, but he didn't review the 4 step plan that is indeed, mostly correct. So good job, i am sure the next video will be even better
I’ve lost ~10lbs steadily while gaining strength after adding in half marathon training. I run/lift 4x/week. Lifts are focused on heavy compounds of 5x5 adding ~5lbs every session. Composition has improved drastically, and I base my weight on my post Sunday long run weight. The volume of my runs increases by 10% weekly building to a goal peak 2 weeks prior to the actual half marathon.
Thank you for all of this knowledge! This is exactly what was happening to me and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong if my routine stayed the same.
I love his video, though i hate calorie counting. Im 41 and my method lazy simple method always work:- 1. Clean eating 2. Take fat burner 3. Cardio/weight lifting (1-2hours a day) I hv lost 5kg in 2 weeks using this. Ive done this all my life whenever my clothes is tight.
Fat burners are not good for your body please don’t use them. It’s only for people who are already around 10% body fat and want to get into the single digit mark. Clean eating and regular exercise will do it.
Omg this is my most frustrating issue. I weigh a perfectly healthy weight of 117 pounds at 5”5 female ... but my lower belly fat won’t go away !! It’s so frustrating because it feels like all my hard work at the gym is pointless if I don’t see the results I want.

@@eatingisgr8134 Are you measuring yourself? Sometimes we can't see the weight "lost" in lbs, but rather inches. Also, maybe try calculating your ideal calories for your goals (just google "My ideal calories" and tons of online calculators will pop up that you can calculate your ideal calories per day, my fitness pal does a good job of breaking down your macros as well). Also, cardio isn't everything, you actually burn more calories when you have lean body mass- which can be done with lifting or body weight resistance workouts. 2 LBS per month for a fit or lower body weight person is actually healthy and sustainable. What worked for me is eating more calories than I did in the past (weird, but reverse dieting worked for me), lifting weights, doing a set amount of cardio, AND mixing my workouts up (doing HIIT workouts, mixing up my lifting workouts and doing different cardio every so often). Hope this helps, but really start measuring your food, and take body measurements & pics.
The positive feedback you have got from your subscribers and audience must be overwhelming. Congratulations on the success you have built, everyone is proud of you.

One variable that I have used exercising on my treadmill to maintain fat burning is as I lose weight, I add weight to my backpack to compensate for my lost weight. If I initially lose 10 lbs, I add 10 lbs to my backpack or a weighted vest, lose another 5 lbs, add 5 lbs etc. the above works best if slow walk on a steep incline.
This is happening to me now. I only run my mile in 7:29 but to me that’s a miracle considering I started at 13:00 😱 so I ran everyday. Now, I hit this platue, thank you Jeremy xoxo 🤗

All he proved is that he doesnt have any idea what he is talking about, but will continue to pump out videos on the matter. Sorry, his channel needs removed. We dont need more fitness misinformation.
Ive found a perfect rutine for myself that helps me alot. Instead of driving to my gym ive started walking, which helps me burn like almost 200 more calories. For my more intens cardio i go skateboarding with my friends, which helps me burn alot without stressing my muscles too much. This past week ive lost around 1,5KG doing this :)
Really wonderful narration about cardio exercises. I am 69 years old. I do thread mill, stationery cycle and elliptical bar for a total period of 45 minutes. Is it OK for my age. I have been following your instructions very religiously. Tks for sharing.
If you are someone who gets bored with treadmill run like me lol, recommend taking up swimming as an alternative. I do like the incline bit idea, I outta try that more. It's odd but I feel at a standstill on the tread sometimes, always being in the same spot. Swimming gives me like a finish line (end to end of pool) to strive to and the water flow all around helps to feel more alive. When you start to get technique down, you can feel when you're cutting through the water resistance versus when you're not

i have watched a lot of videos like this one, if you focus on building muscle, according to the info i got from those videos, you need to train certain parts more times in a week to see a good result.
You know you've found a guy you can trust when you see he does this and admits to his mistake. Respect and good luck in future videos Jeremy

Now u achieved your goal?
I’m late to the party, but I wanted to say that you’ve saved my life with that hack about reading a book or working on your computer when you do your 1-hour walk on the treadmill! I tried it this week, and the reading keeps my mind off the pain and time of the walk! I also go through my book so much faster with 2-3 extra hours dedicated to reading in the week now haha!

That's my system too. I wear a fitness tracker and I pay attention to time and heart rate only. It naturally makes me push harder.
5hr
What heart rate you manage during workouts
So u fixed a time and then u see the avg heart rate and if it is the same for example for the past few exercises then u will increase speed?

So what are the results

That should make V-Shred the best on the planet.
Yeaaahhhhh, he's wrong again
Noah Blevins but im hitting my fitness goals thanks
I've implemented these exercises and modified it a bit for myself. So what I did was put on:
Backpack weighing 5kg
Carrier vest weighing 3kg
Helmet weighing 2kg
Optional: Paintball blaster weighing 3kg unloaded
And just run with all of this on.

Feels like algebra. Going to have to listen to this again and take notes. LOL.

Love that you actually back up your claims with sources!!!
Thank you for all of this knowledge! This is exactly what was happening to me and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong if my routine stayed the same.

3. Cardio/weight lifting (1-2hours a day)

This guy looks realistic when comes to achieve certain objectives, so i subscribe...
