When using the circular pattern with higher numbers of instances it "breaks" because it is simplifying the render and when you confirm the pattern it displays all 30. Also, I believe that you don't have to hold shift when selecting multiple entities, when you select an entity and then select another entity the first entity stays selected and if you want to quickly de-select entities just press space.
the second bearing should have been locked in place before doing the revolute, that's why it moved instead of the gear. Also positioning the gear isn't necessary if you align the bearing first.
My guy, when editing your videos please please keep the audio level more consistent. It will make your video seem more professional. A good example is in your intro. Your voice is super soft so I turned the volume way up, then boom, your intro music blew my ears off. I think that your voice audio track could use some inflation. Other than that I liked the video, but please take my advice into consideration. Have a nice day!
The software is great, but I have found it holds me back due to internet connection strength, also the software only displays a limited number of the patterns, one behind the original and 9 or so in front, this is just because the software has to be as smooth running as possible and say you entered 9999 instances then displaying that number during mock up would slow down your progress
Thank you for the tutorial. I’m brand new to 3D printing and OnShape. Looking forward to more of your tutorials
I am as green as you get with on shape.I appreciate the effort you put in the this especially with the smaller details and tips. please keep it up.
