Honestly the side object sensors alone are worth the upgrade for me. Every incident ive ever had with drones has been while orbiting or flying sideways. Plus the 46 mins of flight time is pretty spectacular for a drone this size

The biggest problem is without an adjustable aputure you will have to use ND filters. Ok so what? The two lens are different max aputure. Ok so what? Your exposure will be different when you switch between lens. Ok so what? You will have to either adjust ISO or land and adjust your ND filter. Super annoying.
Question is how much is the real flight time..

It's finally here! I just bought this from D1 store and I can't wait! This should be a massive upgrade from my Mavic air 2, i'm really happy they added that medium tele camera, it's basically a mavic 3 pro at a fraction of the price! What I also like is how DJI shortened the hood above the gimbal, this allows the drone to do low angle shots up to 60 degrees, a feature only the Mini 3 series had.

You should make a comparison video between new drones and old ones to see how much they improved. Probably a mid range drone like this one, is better than a Mavic 2 Pro. This will also help the users who are unsure if they should switch/upgrade

While the DJI Mini series is awesome, going just slightly bigger gets you so much more beauty and stability in the shots. The Air3 is amazing

Wonderful video. Those telephoto parallax shots are amazing. Just wondering though how the Air 3 is in low light. Other videos show a significant amount of mushiness in low light footage.

Doing some research on my first drone..curious on this Air 3..that underneath LED light or spotlight?..does that turn on automatically when descending to a certain feet?..or can you turn it on and off?..thanks
There is no spotlight that's forsure, I don't know the specifics of the drone if it's an rgb light it's for indicating status if it looks like an led it's inferred that's apart of the drones sensor array
@@ravenshaw1514 oh someone mentioned it..its the "auxiliary light"..I didn't mean to say "spotlight..someone informed me that in the settings you can set it to auto and on and off as well..

I like the Air 3, but would still aim to grab the mini3 pro for myself. Are you going to be but the nikon z8 or 9 through some test and let us know your thoughts? We know your review would be more realworld and honest compared to others is why I ask.

With that f1.7 aperture you're probably still capturing more light on the main lens of this unit than the 2S with it's f2.8 opening.. It's like using a full frame with a kit lens VS a crop sensor with a nice f1.4 prime lens.

How do the range/signal compare between the Mini 3 Pro, Air 3, and Mavic 3 Pro in real world use (with trees, buildings, etc.)? Does the new controller increase the range of the Mini 3 Pro? My Mini 3 Pro has terrible range and signal compared to my Mavic 2 Pro so I'm looking at getting the Air 3 or Mavic 3 Pro unless the new controller alone will increase my Mini 3 Pro range.

I live in Florida and right now with an Nd64 at 24fps I’m one stop overexposed at f2.8 1/50. It means if I switch to the wider 1.7 cam my footage is pretty much useless bien a fix 1.7 aperture. I would love to see the work around that lol

nah. 24 fps is best
It really depends but most of the times 60 FPS is the best choice,
my case as well because then i can do time remapping without any lag
How loud is the Air3 compared to the Air 2S? Are they comparable? Or is the 3 significantly louder than the 2S?
