The original Megaman was basically a series of catch-22s where bosses' abilities made other bosses easier to defeat. The problem was killing the first boss, after which you can roll pretty easily, and most people started with Airman. As can be expected, when they brought the game over to Murika they made Airman significantly easier so you can break through the loop easily.
@@skibot9974Not Air Man specifically. When localizing the game outside of Japan they added an easier difficulty called “Normal” while the original Japanese difficulty was called “Hard”. In the easier difficulty you do more damage and enemies drop health and weapon energy much more frequently. Added with how overpowered the metal blades are, it makes the game a cakewalk. The funny part is that Air Man or his stage aren’t notoriously difficult or anything even on the original Japanese difficulty. He does have a couple of nearly undodgable attacks, but does so little damage you can just brute force the fight. So the lyrics aren’t complaining about something infamously bullshit, it’s just a random part of the game that this guy for some reason really struggled with.
SB3377 Stuff N' Such No, you would beat Wood Man with Metal Blade, and then use Leaf Shield on Air Man. That's how I do it every playthrough, at least.
If only you had Heat Man's weapon, you could take on Wood Man. But that block puzzle gets in the way, so you need Item 2 to get past it, which you get from Air Man. But Air Man's too difficult, but Leaf shield could help, only if Wood Man was easier. Ugh, it's like an endless loop.

I like how making an entire song from scratch is still easier than beating airman
The original Megaman was basically a series of catch-22s where bosses' abilities made other bosses easier to defeat. The problem was killing the first boss, after which you can roll pretty easily, and most people started with Airman.
As can be expected, when they brought the game over to Murika they made Airman significantly easier so you can break through the loop easily.
Which is why you play on difficult and pick metal man, or just blitz Woodman.
How was he made easier
@@skibot9974Not Air Man specifically. When localizing the game outside of Japan they added an easier difficulty called “Normal” while the original Japanese difficulty was called “Hard”. In the easier difficulty you do more damage and enemies drop health and weapon energy much more frequently. Added with how overpowered the metal blades are, it makes the game a cakewalk.
The funny part is that Air Man or his stage aren’t notoriously difficult or anything even on the original Japanese difficulty. He does have a couple of nearly undodgable attacks, but does so little damage you can just brute force the fight. So the lyrics aren’t complaining about something infamously bullshit, it’s just a random part of the game that this guy for some reason really struggled with.
Solution: Beat Metal Man.
Metal Blade is OP.
Metal blade does not affect airman
SB3377 Stuff N' Such No, you would beat Wood Man with Metal Blade, and then use Leaf Shield on Air Man. That's how I do it every playthrough, at least.

If only you had Heat Man's weapon, you could take on Wood Man.
But that block puzzle gets in the way, so you need Item 2 to get past it, which you get from Air Man.
But Air Man's too difficult, but Leaf shield could help, only if Wood Man was easier.
