Hey guys , big fan of your channel, i was wondering if you can help me and show or tell me how would be the setup for installing the catch can on an M112 specially how the breather hoses are going to be connected to the catch can ( all three of them , the two 3/8 and the big one the 5/8)
Can’t wait to put one on My SL 55, waiting for your video on the catch can for the M113K, great videos, you guys are such a great team. I am up-to-date on all your videos everyone of them, this one slipped by me.

hi MMA! i was just wondering - would it be a good idea (from a performance perspectiv) to remove pcv hoses and replace with longer ones except route so that i vent to atmosphere? i have an old s55 amg w220 that i kinda inherited from a friend that passed on some yrs bck (rest his good soul) ...but it is a 1st gen with the m113 v8 non-k (NA engine) but it had a kleemann sc blower strapped to it. recently i did a bit of maintenance on it, i pulled the blower off and noticed the whole inside of all the runners were super oily! i'm assuming the oil is likely from that oily blowby gas sucked from both bank valve covers.. so what i'm thinking is perhaps to vent the valve covers to atmosphere using longer hoses route em down somewhere low under car and cap off the nipple bit where they originally went to at the TB? another thing i noticed was when i removed valve covers the actual opening of the baffle parts was extremely small.. should i drill those holes out bigger maybe?? also thought i'd add i'm from malaysia & our emissions here is 'not too strict', also bribery is a totally legal option during our vehicle inspections =) also rusty you're a very attractiv man (no homo!!!).. anyways cheers brothers hope u can point me in the right direction regarding my s55. it is a piece of junk won't lie but i can't get rid of it i do luv it dearly still! thanks alot appreciate the vids!
@@ModernMastersAuto i see, so no matter what (even if i cap the intake side/TB nipple) the valve cover vent hoses must be routed back to the intake (vacuum)? i always thought valve covers had positiv pressure in em, hence the vent hoses relieving blowby gases?

The PCV valve hose goes to the "IN" side of the catch can?
Yes the clean air "out" goes to the intake manifold.

i'm assuming the oil is likely from that oily blowby gas sucked from both bank valve covers.. so what i'm thinking is perhaps to vent the valve covers to atmosphere using longer hoses route em down somewhere low under car and cap off the nipple bit where they originally went to at the TB? another thing i noticed was when i removed valve covers the actual opening of the baffle parts was extremely small.. should i drill those holes out bigger maybe?? also thought i'd add i'm from malaysia & our emissions here is 'not too strict', also bribery is a totally legal option during our vehicle inspections =) also rusty you're a very attractiv man (no homo!!!).. anyways cheers brothers hope u can point me in the right direction regarding my s55. it is a piece of junk won't lie but i can't get rid of it i do luv it dearly still! thanks alot appreciate the vids!
This would cause issues as it would be like having a vacuum leak
