    Great video. We own the Encore and you answered some questions we had on how to properly secure the trailer to ride. Thanks! :-)

      Nice review. I'm debating if I should get the Honey Bee or the Hamax outback 1... I wonder if the Hamax does worth the double cost?

    Very good review can you please tell what is max weight and height capacity of this trailer

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The total weight capacity (children + cargo) is 100 lbs. The total capacity for children is 80 lbs for two, 40 lbs. per child. You could probably get away with a 30/50 split as well. These trailers are tall and we've never had an issue with height if you stay within the weight limit.

    Hi, when using as a stroller, is it good for jogging or just posing as a regular stroller?

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are a casual jogger, it will work fine. If you run consistently, you would probalby want to upgrade to the Burley Encore X so you could buy a jogging wheel attachement. www.twowheelingtots.com/burley-encore-x-review/

    I purchased the Burley Honey Bee (double)to transport my 3 yo granddaughter. I am very impressed with the design and materials overall, but noticed the design doesn’t adequately allow space for wearing a proper fitted helmet comfortably (a necessity for safety). The hammock style seats double-back straps and netting caused my granddaughter to bend her neck downward (helmet pushing forward towards her chest) making holding her head up to see difficult. How have others dealt with this issue?

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a very common issue with bike trailers, and for that reason, most bike trailers have a looser mesh netting on the back panel that allows for the helmet to recess into the back of the trailer. That said, some kids may be too short at first (or too tall later) to reach that mesh netting. Is that what is happening? This is why we also always recommend purchasing a helmet with a very flat back, such as the Giro Scamp. www.twowheelingtots.com/giro-scamp-review/. Thoughts?

    Would you recommend the honey bee or Thule coaster? Having a hard time deciding as they are in similar price ranges on sale

      Honey Bee all the way. Our written review has a comparison between the Honey Bee and the Coaster XT at the bottom of the review. www.twowheelingtots.com/burley-honey-bee-review/

    Hi, are the seats easy to take out on the Honey Bee? Thanks in advance!

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Honey Bee’s seats are not meant to be removed. The Encore X and above are easily folded down to covert to a cargo trailer.

      @@Twowheelingtotsbikes oh ok so it wouldn’t be ideal for a dog? I like the colour as it matches my road bike.

      @@Twowheelingtotsbikes the only thing that’s putting me off with that particular model is the colour. The honey bee model better suits my bike as I like things colour coded. 😊

    Thank you for this video! Would you recommend the Allen S2 or the Burley Bee? I'm undecided between the two

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Burley Bee if you can afford it. It's much easier to use and much better quality. It's also easy to fold for transportation.

    Mine is such a damn nightmare to open. It's to tight when trying to flip the bars into place before locking the latches.

      They are usually quite stiff in the beginning, but become MUCH easier and quite smooth to engage over time.

    How does it do with 2 kids in it

    • @Twowheelingtotsbikes
      @Twowheelingtotsbikes  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Catherine! Great - both of these trailers are made for double capacity. However, the maximum weight capacity is 80 lbs of kids. (40 pounds each or 50/30 split)
