Hi Nick, just saw you on TA Outdoors, immediately subscribed, and ordered your book. I can't tell you what a positive impact you've just made, thank you! And thank you for your work helping others!
PTSD isn't a short term fix. 23 years out and I still struggle occasionally; though over time I have found my own coping mechanisms (wild camping on top of a mountain is my preferred one), but knowing the triggers (either physically or emotional, musical, smells etc) helps to keep episodes to a minium.
Hi nick great to see your doing great, loved your collaboration video with TA outdoors. Can't wait to get my mitts on your book. Hope one day I'll meet ya in person and get it signed, you are an amazing positive inspiration for the outdoors
Hi Nick. Just watched your collaboration with Mike over at TA Outdoors 👍 So glad to see you up and running again and looking forward to watching more of your channel 👏👏👏

Hi nick. I saw ta had done a film with you so watched it. Mate so great to see and hear from you. Personally you really helped me through some dark times. Thank you for that. Thoroughly looking forward to hearing about your onward journey 😀. Cheers ❤
Hey Nick! How's it going? Miss Hidden Valley Bushcraft, but it is what it is. Saw you on TA Outdoors, OUTSTANDING VIDEO!!! Just wanted to say Hello and hope all is well with you and your family.
Hello, Nick! I saw your appearance on TA Outdoors quite by accident, but I figured that as a fellow member of the Smooth Pocket Pebble Club I simply had to hop on over here and subscribe. Also, I wanted to tell you about the method of using a couple of sticks to manipulate an ember from the campfire to carefully burn out a deeper bowl for the spoon, and then obviously using the pebble to get rid of the crispy bits and give the inside a good finish for a nice, deep, and fire-hardened wooden spoon made without specialized knives.
Hey, Nick. I'm also over from TA Outdoors and Subscribed because of your wholesome attitude and presentory charisma. You had such a gigantic backpack on the collab with Mike, with so many pouches and pockets. I sure would love a video series with a more in-depth tour of the gear you carry and the things you deem necessary to bring into the outdoors; especially that pack you said you could grab and run with if necessary. Thanks for the videos!
As has been said below, I was a regular HVB watcher, saw the recent video with TA Outdoors and have popped across to your new channel; you have a new subscriber. Bravo sir, keep up the good work! Also nice to see that Forest School is part of your ethos for the bairns :)
Another just come over from TA Outdoors and now looking forward to watching your videos and learning more. Our grandson has just joined the Army and its great to know you support an alternative charity than the one we all hear about. But that said they are also doing a good job.
Hi nick, just seen you with Mike on TA outdoors, thankyou for an amazing video so much admiration for military veterans, just subscribed and bought your book, thanks for the tips ❤❤
Hey Nick also on to you from TA outdoors. The roof rack looks great but what its crying out for is a kick ass light bar on the front, maybe you could get the boys to do it for you!
Nicely done, Nick. Fully enough, I have seen a few of the VIA videos and may have commented on one thinking you should be in one. Not sure how I missed this one of yours. It was right before your moustache morphing video.I blame that. :)
Nice one mate and a pleasure working with you. We have now changed our TH-cam Channel's name to Veterans In Action th-cam.com/channels/FcmnCQM9PNX9m1-wvxRRwg.html
