    Gosh, you are just so fun to watch and informative! So many of these videos are a way to show off how healthy one can be. This is so real and helpful. And not in a show off way. Which you could totally show off because you are killing it!

    As a health nut, I greatly appreciate and love your tips. The intrinsic motivation I have to exercise has been with me since birth, and so it took some learning for me to understand that most people are not like that, AND that there is nothing wrong with that. Feeling unmotivated, or talking yourself out of something is something we all face in different facets of our lives. YES, having friends to workout with or just attending group classes is such a great tip. I am awful at pilates but I show up and I chat with the other women and so that group class also fills my social bucket and puts me in a good mood.
    Also, I just got a job that has consistent hours after years of inconsistent work hours late into the night: Consistent sleep and sleeping at the same time each day goes a long way. It is a privelege to have a consistent schedule and I know it will not last forever, but omgoodness I usually naturally wakeup minutes before my alarm goes off. And in the evenings, my eyes get heavy at the same time, then my head hits the pillow and I am out like a light. My heart goes out to anyone who does not get enough consistent hours of sleep, no joke when Jordan says it affects EVERYTHING!

    I actually just finished a research paper on sleep and it’s correspondence to immune health. Ya’ll get that sleep in!!😴

      When I didn't get enough sleep I started having stress related mental issues but when I started making myself rest more as a goal, I started feeling so much better. Rest is very important!

    You crack me up when you say "It's so cold!" Or this is hard 😭 " Ok, I can do this!" Bc I'm thinking, girl, you've given birth to 8 children!! Like, is there anything you CAN'T do?" Exhaustion and freezing temps can't stop you! You are a beast!! 🎉 💪💪 super motivating!

    I also struggle with carving out me time away from my kiddos. I always feel so guilty. But my therapist said to change perspectives. I’m just taking some time make sure I’m not last. So I’m putting ME before the laundry, or dishes, or whatever. But I do always feel so much happier and recharged after a few hours with friends.

    So crazy. I went to the doctor this week solely to check my hormones. I am so amazed at how low my iodine is, which was affecting my thyroid, which then affects so many things...including blood pressure and hormones! More tests at the end of the month, but I am happy to be headed in the right direction.

    I recently read atomic habits. You won't rise to your goal. You will fall to the level of your systems.
    Even if it's 10 mins you are moving towards the person you want to be. As long as you show up and continue you will be able to optimize later. Just show up now.

It's very encouraging to all of us! 😁❤️🎵🎶💪Yes, the very cold weather (SE Michigan) is a contributing lack of motivation for me, too. A recent Dr. visit advises me working out 30 minutes everyday now. Good health is a huge motivator. 😁 That is great that you and Bubba encourage one another with scheduling. ❤️

    I have been wondering how you look so amazing, organized, fit, and put together all while taking acre of a family of 10.
    I try not to compare, but I struggle with taking care of myself with a family of 5 plus taking care of a parent quite often.
    Any videos addressing that the struggle is real give me ideas and/or motivation to still make it a priority though I'm often exhausted mentally and physically. I know it always pays off to invest in myself and my health habits - difficult as that is to do with so many people relying on me.

    Do you go to your GP or your OB for getting your hormones checked. Which one takes hormones more seriously. I feel like Doctors don’t consider those enough.

    I didn't realize how much "poor" sleep I was getting for AGES until I got a Garmin watch and used the app! Using my watch has been a game-changer for enough sleep!

    Great vlog again. Needed this after I’ve given up the gym as I just wasn’t finding the time. I completely agree on the point of making sure you schedule your Excersize in so think I’m going to try this and do excersise I enjoy, like running Pilates which is free xx

    Serious question I've been wanting to ask about hormones-- I asked my GYN if I could have my hormones tested. She replied with, "If your cycle is regular, your hormones are fine." And brushed it aside. I felt so ignored. Is there truth to that? I feel like something is just... off. This can't be how everyone else feels all the time, like constant survival mode, never thriving.

      I would recommend you talk to your primary care doctor and request a referral to an endocrinologist. I'm sorry your GYN was so dismissive :(

      My cycle is very very regular, like clockwork, I had very low progesterone. So no, having a regular cycle does not mean you won't have hormone issues. Have a full blood work up with your general practitioner to get some answers!

      I am 28 and I saw 2 obgyn's and my primary and they said the same thing! They did test some things like thyroid but they said they wouldn't test for testosterone or anything since as women our hormones fluctuate. And since I carried 3 babies to term she said my testosterone is fine. I need to see a place specific for hormones. My husband sees a similar place that offers hormone therapy injections for men and women and they do regular blood tests to adjust. I've just been scared to take the plunge but I need to do something. These pmdd symptoms or whatever is going on with me is not normal!

      Your intuition about something being off requires investigation and 2nd opinion. We women know and feel when something is off.

    Jordan, you are doing so great in your efforts to be healthy!! One huge thing also to be considered is TOXINS- in everything we put in our mouth, everything we put on our skin, everything we breathe, including our cleaning products. With toxic build-up and overload in our body, our other efforts can't keep up. We have to read labels and learn what they mean. VERY important.
    Also, cooking in aluminum is thought to be setting us up for dementia or altzheimer's down the road. Best not to use aluminum cookware and if you need to use foil products, put parchment paper between the food and the foil to protect you.

    Collagen has helped my hair as well. After my last child I had no loss and I think it was the collagen. My thyroid is my main source of hairloss.

    if you rinse your opened avocado under water.. then put in storage container it doesn't turn brown for awhile as well... :)

      Zinc helped me!!! 50-100mg daily but I did have my levels checked because of hair loss so I know this amount is okay for me.

      Literally half (if not more) of my hair volume fell out after I had covid. I started taking collagen and I look like a chia pet right now because of all the new hair sprouting up lol but it works! I take mine with my pre-workout in the mornings

    I've been so conscience about trying to only go to the store once a week bc of a video you did awhile back saying that you only go to the grocery store once a week bc everytime we go, we end up buying more than what you need so it helps to save money to only go once a week NO MATTER WHAT. You even said if you run out of staples in the middle of the week, you just go with out for a few days. But in this video you're not following your own rule! Lol 😂 it is still a good rule tho. It just caught my attention when I noticed this.

      I’m wearing “faux extensions” that I do myself and stay on for 5-7 days! So you can sleep in them and such. I’m testing them out then will do a video!

      My husband does them and most insurances don't fully help, but you can usually use the hsa. They're pricey here in NM. I want to say 100 or more a month

    Jordan, if your hormone shots stop working, check into bioidentical hormone pellet therapy. I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 25 and at age 33 my body has been begging for hormones but didn't know it. My health is bad because of it. I am amazed at what it feels like to have hormones again. In January I got my first pellet and 3 days ago I got my boost because my body was so low in the hormones. You usually only need the pellets every 4 months for females, so less trips as a busy mom instead of weekly shots.

    Instead of the fruit fresh stuff you can just squeeze a lime on things. That works too. It does add that lime flavor to it but I don't mind it. I LOVE lime flavor! OR another good tip, if you are going to use the avocado within the day, put the 2 halves of the avocado back together and cover the whole thing with aluminum foil and put it in the fridge. It may get a little bit brown but not much at all. Then I just kind of scrape away the tiny bit that got brown, if any and use it. 😊

      Fully submerging the avocado keeps it from browning too, like you would with raw cut potatoes. For apples, you would have to add some acid, like lemon juice to the water. There are so many avocado tips, yet my sister still just puts a halved avocado in the fridge completely uncovered lol. She still eats it brown, so I guess no harm there either 🤦‍♀️😂

    I am having many issues around aging and am very interested in the hormone shots you get. Do you see an endocrinologist to have your levels checked to see what you need in the shot or what area of expertise do I need to see? My ob/gyn did a basic panel once and said it was normal and was done with it. Yet I have gained a ton of weight, losing hair, thinning hair, don't sleep well, grumpy... you name it, it screams hormones. I need to know what specialist to call to get this taken care of.

      Please ask your ob to order a thyroid panel! A nutritionist specializing in hormones might also be a good idea. Taking hormones can have negative effects on cancer detection. Hope you get to feeling better.

    Love this! Can’t wait to get back to working out! I am so curious how your makeup doesn’t end up running down your face when you sweat?! It has some serious staying power! I don’t bother doing my makeup before a workout because it feels like a waste of time (and energy 😏) How do you do it?!

    Do you always wear makeup to gym? I always cleanse my skin right before I go so that when I perspire my pores get a good clean out . When I get home cleanse again and use my cold roller to close pores and reduce puffiness. I have been treating people skin for 2 decades and know what works. Your doing great 👍

    My problem is that I know how important sleep is so when I’m tired and my alarm goes off, I convince myself that sleep is more beneficial to my body and mind, even if I’ve slept 6-10 hours😂 And this was before having kids so it’s worse now.

    This was so good Jordan! Thank you, as for the place for hormones do they let anyone go!? My testosterone is so low. My dr said in his word. It’s extremely low. I would love to go to them if they take anyone. Thanks for the info💗💗💗
