Saw maiden on their Killers tour. It was the best. Newcastle city hall right at the front. I was just a kid. These were special times. Legends Paul Dianno and Clive Burr. Love the crowd backing Paul. Must have been fantastic to be there.
Nice t-shirt Paul and Clive brought the punk influence to early Iron Maiden which may be why live Clive often played 5 or more bpm faster than the studio version, Wrathchild in the studio is 104 but live with Clive it would be closer to 110 bpm. No surprise he influenced the great thrash drummers like Charlie Benante, Dave Lombardo and Paul Bostaph. A shame Maiden felt the need to sack him but as Clive would say it’s just Doris.
Where was everyone on all his other tours for the last well, forever?? A band I was in supported Killers at Newcastle Riverside and there was about 10 people in.
Considering his health issues he still sounds pretty good. While I consider the Number of the Beast the definitive Maiden album (everything Maiden has done since is just a worse version of Beast), the two albums with Paul are arguably the best Maiden albums. Yes, Bruce is a better technical singer, but Paul has so much better stage presence. One of them has yo run around like a maniac to try to get you to pay attention to him, the other just comes out and sings and you do pay attention to him.
When I first saw Paul perform live I was a teen, now I'm a grandfather. Time flies hey!

The love coming out of that crowd must have been something to feel for Paul on stage.
Incredible, simply incredible!
Leggenda! ⚡🤟❤️
this gives me a smile - awesome
This is almost painful to watch. But all the good health to you, Paul!
Totally this!

Iron maiden is one of the best metal albums ever, and I prefer it to number of the beast.
😂
Yeah all that running about got a bit much. I loved the early Maiden.
This is pathetic
Bruce spoil ALL the thing
I disagree with you in my opinion, Bruce sings better than Paul without a doubt, nothing against Paul who also sings well, but Bruce is fantastic
😂
Hahaha
Bruce spoiled Paul's singing here
