One of the things this vessel had going for it over those shallow rapids and submerged sandbars was its shallow draft. A kayak with a true keel would have been hung up at least 2-3 times on those submerged sand bars that the K-Craft went over in this video.

Crescent makes great yaks, I have the lite tackle 2, bought my wife the K craft this year, it’s fantastic going to buy one for me now as well

As much as I love this boat in concept, as a dude at about your same weight I just worry I’ll never really be able to use it consistently enough due to the weight limitation. Did you have a chance to throw an actual fishing load out on it? As always awesome review bud!

Fully loaded, I was at 300 lbs with only a few inches of freeboard. This is a sup/kayak hybrid at 33" wide, and I must remember the limited volume by design, thus not intended to be a fat guy platform. I can paddle it on day trips, but I can't overnight it.

This is the on the San Marcos River. Love the Guad, wish the water flow was more consistant. The Sholie is an incredible river runner, this is a sup/kayak hybrid design.

Any chance u will cover the bonafide skf117? Looking for a really low draft kayak, sup, skiff, etc. That I can push pole over the really shallow parts of creeks.. tired of getting in and out all the time. I know the vibe cubera has a really low draft. But not made in usa. Hoping to find a usa made kayak that has a low draft.

Yes, very 4" or so
