I love Thunderbirds, and TB2 was my favorite movie as a kid in the ‘60s. As such, I immediately ordered this model when it went up for preorder. I like it, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed in it. It is overpriced, as are the Eagle models that have been released thus far-especially when you consider that the Eagles were from existing Eaglemoss tooling. For the price they are asking, I would expect a higher level of finish. The all-too-visible seams on TB2 (that actually gap a bit at certain points on mine) should have been filled and sanded prior to painting.
@@PopCultureGamers Yes, very likely but probably a production error that was to late to correct, as I said I am being picky but having so many models of my beloved Thunderbird 2 it jumped out at me straight away.
It isn’t near that much, at least not in the UK, but while it is a nice model I would have liked to see a bit more, like a removable pod with extra vehicle, but you get less for your money these days
Well as a model maker . The seams down the side and around the craft a very noticeable for a desk top model. The weathering seems to be non existencant on the nose of the ship . Otherwise at least it is in the exact proportions . I don't know how much you paid . 6 1/2 out of 10
Mine arrived 3 weeks ago very disappointing, Its not diecast you can clearly see the join lines not worth £100, Will keep it for the time being then will give it away, Im not buying anything more, Its terrible like the space 1999 stuff, Certificate not even numbered save your money.
This a very nice thunderbird 2 craft just like tvseries I love this ship I had to have one.😊.
I know there are always better, more detailed models, but I am happy with mine
At this scale the detail is amazing
I like it!
This great but I wish there was a deluxe version with glass showing the inside of the cockpit and a movable pod.
I agree

great model congrats new sub
Thanks for subscribing - hope you enjoy our varied content
Lovely model but not quite screen accurate as the T2 on the underside should be on the port (left) wing, maybe I am nit picking.
It is Jamie Anderson approved!

For almost $200 it needs to be about twice that size and be lighted. Disappointed.

Actual windows and cockpit detailing (showing Virgil at the wheel) would go a long way on any larger TB2 model. Opportunity missed yet again
No doubt a cost issue
Why is it advertised as die cast on the website? Isn’t that a con?
Good point

Could be better for the price but I was happy with mine, but it should have been cheaper
@PopCultureGamers Yeah around £50 to £60 certainly no more.
£200 and it doesn't even have a removable pod? Christ save your money!
If you are paying £200 for it then you are shopping from scalpers, it isn’t that much on the store
How much is it then?
@@1PeteAFC I purchased for £100
Does it state where this is made anywhere?
@@andybalfour1654 Not a clue as I have put the box into long term storage
Disappointing tbh
Fair enough, each to their own
