Great video. I have this player and love almost everything about it. BUT - and it's a massive but - I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to play the next album when it gets to the end of the one I've been listening to: It just goes back to track one on the same album. I think I've tried every setting. (The "Play through albums On/Off" setting certainly doesn't fix this.) I've read the manual; it didn't help! PLEASE, am I missing something?! My use case is this: I listen to ripped CDs, flac format, via SD card. Long car journeys, and I want to listen to one album after another. Simple, surely? On software V3.0. So, whilst I love it, it's borderline useless. Still a five star player, but useless for me. Can anyone help..? I'm VERY happy to be proved stupid on this issue! Cheers.

It's fake. It has already been modified by the seller. Appel never made an Ipod in that color.

It's not the best but at the price point it is. The other players around the same price have weird firmware/software that can't organize music AT ALL. One of my other players can't recognize more than one folder. The F20 on the other hand can recognize all of the folders. It's drop, organize, and play outclasses all of the other similar priced players. Also, my other player takes sooooo long to load up all of the music files which I have many they are large like 1-2 hours each. It takes like 5 minutes to load up all of my media files!!! Wayyyy too slow. I have probably over 150 gigs of songs and the F20 loads them up very fast! This device has two flaws, I have owned 3 of them so far. #1 is the battery is cheap and prone to bloating, and can get damaged if it is dropped onto a hard surface. The other flaw is if you use this with wet hands, it will get into the scroll wheel and mess it up somewhat. It will start to scroll the opposite direction you want to scroll and then move down, so it's much harder to scroll through the files.

It's a real iPod but its not brand new in box. It's been refurbished with new internals and a new cover plate. The iPod classic never came with more than 160GB of storage from the factory. And it never came in blue

I’ve got 3 iPods love mine. It’s fun to have lots of storage but then again you’re spending lots of time scrolling through yours songs. I have a Nano 3rd gen and 1st I use if I don’t want to scroll that much and only have a few of my main artists.

I'm looking to replace a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra. The Surfans F20 will only be used in the car through the car stereo, amp, and speakers. The line out will go to my car stereo. The USB will go to car charger. The Creative has a "Car Mode", where the unit turns on/off with the ignition. Looking at the Surfans F20 manual, I don't see a "car mode". When on USB charging and playback mode, will this unit turn on/off with the car ignition? Also curious, I set the Creative volume to full and adjust with the car stereo. Does the Surfans F20 volume reset to 30% every time it's turned off? Thanks!

Nothing beats iPod Classic, I’ve got a bunch of them. I flash modded some, others are still original, with original hard drives.

The box artwork is outstanding. I just can't help the feeling of being fooled when finding out that the details of model has absolutely nothing to do with the image on the box. But that said - it's not a bad model. Lots of details that other models lack.

I've only just started watching the video, up to around 3 minutes, so you might reveal otherwise, but the 512GB part shows it might be a fake, as it is just a label, it should be like an embossed silver font on the box, I double checked that by watching another ipod 7th gen unboxing, it looks good though, is the back metal or chrome, it should be metal, but I could not tell from the photos, you could weigh it too and compare it the weight of a official model.

If you search by artist you will see all of the albums but is there a way to see all of the songs by the artist. That is a feature that is vital for me. I love the interface of the Musicolet app for Android. If this player doesn't this feature I'll have to get an Android DAP or use an inexpensive mobile phone. Having said this I like a lot of feature of the Surfans F20 and the build quality.

Looks like a nice entry level device. I Iike buttons. It uses a Burr Brown? Seriously? For those who don't know, that's a very high end sounding dac chip.

Calling a Hi Res Music Player an 'MP3 player" doesn't make any sense...

I had the original one as a kid, it fired plastic discs, I jammed a dime in the disc slot once I lost all the discs, lost the plastic shuttle craft that was in doors on the bottom of the Enterprise and not in the shuttle bay, loved Corgi toys, Marshall Fields sold them in Chicago. I wish it was a remake of the classic toy, but they aren't allowed to sell toys that shoot projectiles anymore, some kid shot his eye out and ruined it for everyone else.

I'm thinking about this to go with my Eaglemoss Enterprise E XL. The Eaglemoss Enterprise D is ridiculously priced on eBay right now.

I recommend in the $200 range, a Hiby m300. It is for pocketable use and some travel. I just got one. I took a full 512 Gb card out of my older SONY MWA 105, and put it in the Hiby and it was ready to play. All I want to do to do is set up favorites and playlists. Actually stunned play started and it has a tiny speaker! The SONY was so poor in battery life, and their software being necessary to sync to make playlists only on PC was frustrating. One also could not edit tags of the files in the device. Bad choice when I have so many files I've been managing carefully in windows. For home full size headphone and connection to component stereo, my last couple of 'higher end' DAPS were with Fiio M11 (46k tracks on 2 512 Gb microSD) due to an accident I just replaced it with a Fiio M15s. In the past I've from 200x, used several other mp3 and other DAP. I am still transferring almost 1 Tb files from PC to into 1Tb micro SD in Fiio M15s..
