Im planning a Christmas road trip from California to Houston and back. Weather has me nervous. Thanks for the video so I have a better idea of what’s in store.
Cool 😊 No problem hope you enjoyed it. Coast to coast is pretty rough on ya haha we’ve done it a few times but it’s definitely a cool experience. Cali to Texas isn’t too bad but is obviously still a ride. Think that was pretty rare to hit the type of snow on that stretch like we did lol so hopefully the weather will be much better for you. 😊 Biggest mistakes we’ve made on these trips are biting off more than we can chew as far as driving hours between stops go, and getting too late of a start in the morning. Just get an early start and stop when you need to stop. Should be all good. Hope you have a fun and safe trip and a Merry Christmas 🎄😉🤙🏽
We actually did end up enjoying a couple different locations of one specific hotel chain that became our favorite on the trip. Drury Inn. There seemed to be a lot of them on that route, and we had a good experience at the ones we stayed at. 😊🤙🏽
No waaaay😑 the hotel loosing the reservation after driving through those icy roads would have sent me but I think you were both in good spirits after some good pizza!
She’s a rock star. 🤩😎🤙🏽 Haha she has loved driving for as long as I’ve known her and when we first moved out to California we had to drive out here from New Jersey for the first time… and the car was so packed with so much of our belongings and stuff that the driver’s seat literally couldn’t move back far enough for me to even drive. (I’m 6’3”) So she had to drive the entire way, and from that experience we just got so used to working that way as a team where on long trips she drives and I navigate, and film, and give her support when she’s freaked out, lol and so we kind of just stuck with that formula. 🤷🏻♂️😁
