I am from Abu Dhabi it's 1 hr away from Dubai not that far but I wanna go to the United States sooo bad cause first of all I'm not that rich and I'm sick of rich mean people here, I get bullied a lot. If they're rich doesn't mean they have to be mean to me in school or wherever. The first thing on my bucket list is to live in America when I grow up, I'm now 15 just a teenage girl ya know
If only you knew what USA is and what happens there. Movies have you confused. I used to dream the same but now my eyes are now opened and would never live in USA.
@@ShareseNicole My wife and I went there from Germany, immigration strict, I'm surprised they didn't search me. Our experience was great, went to all the places you named, but you right, they are too strict. We only went 4 days, I was ready to leave too, missed my weed. The shopping I did enjoy, and I hear, see, and believe they into slavery over there. While you are travelling if ever in Europe Chez Republic Prague there is a big cathedrals there and in a large but vacant room there is a picture of Yahweh (Jesus) on a cross, one might say he resembles Nipsey Hussle. I have that pic but can't upload to comment. And the cathedrals is heavily armed guarded.
I had a very attractive friend who went there with her dad who is a doctor, and her mom was a nurse for vacation. She told me that the experience was OK but definitely overrated. One thing that she pointed out was that a group of men approached her and thought she was a prostitute which is crazy! I also have a colleague who went to teach there for a few years and she said that the racism is off the charts and the male chauvinism and sexism also not good for a woman.
I am a black african woman that visited Dubai less than a month ago and I never experienced any of this. In all honesty, I was pleasantly surprised because I expected to be with some form of racism or hostility but experienced neither. I highly recommend visiting Dubai, it was a very pleasant experience. I also recommend going in the cooler months because Dubai is in a desert so high temperatures are to be expected.
Yeah black Americans mostly get the most and I don’t understand why .I am African from USA but when people hear my accent their attitude change from negative to positive and some even tell me you are not black you are African as if being black American is a curse smdh
U said u are a Black African but Black/African is the race and I'm gon take it as if u meant yo nationality or ethnicity is in a African country but u saying u didn't experience racism is a Lie it's just that the white man brainwashed those Blacks who stayed in Africa a whole different way than they brainwashed the ones they took from Africa a lot of y'all in Africa wouldn't know what racism is if it was right in yo face racism is global it's not just confined to one place but u gon say it never happened to u cuz u got what white people call stockholm syndrome or what we would call still under the willie lynch brainwashing technique
I’ve always wanted to go to Dubai but I stopped feeling that way when I saw how they treated migrant African women. Work them nonstop, don’t pay them. Abuse them. I don’t wanna spend my money there
@mrsonpoint I Agree !! I won't !! Go to Dubai Either And I Also don't Like that fact that they mistreats the men that come from different countries to do construction work there at Dubai they mistreat them A And they don't pay them a Lot .being a wealthy country.that is not !! Fair!! And they have them Low income construction working set up Living in bad not Healthy Living situations.
Dubai is seriously racist you weren't imagining it. Btw fair warning if they really don't like the look of you, they can insist on a drug test and if you test positive for anything it's a mandatory 4 year sentence. I don't know why anyone would consider going there it's a truly awful place.
@@User89o Lol wow! So it's rude to say a place is awful, but not rude to use a 🖕🏽 emoji at strangers and make derogatory comments about the family of people you don't know? That takes delusional arrogance to the next level really... When you are traveling as a black person the first thing you should do is research how racist the country you are going to is. As a rule of thumb I only travel to majority black countries.
I agree as a muslim too. I live in the U.K and travelled to Sicily to visit relatives. Omg Italians are so racist. They screamed at me whilst checking my luggage, and the whole entire trip I never saw any other Ethnicity there, and if there was they would walk fast and not look anyone in the eye! I was heartbroken on the way home literally. It put me off travelling in Europe and made me research next time muslim friendly counties I guess. 😢
@@tea-chip-cookies i’m so sorry to hear that. I guess northern european countries are more open towards muslims? I eas actually planning a trip to Sicily, but even though i’m not muslim myself that put me off a bit. I want to travel to places that treat everybody with respect.
Went to Dublin solo and HAD A BLAST!! Do excursions 2-3 days, see main attractions to keep you busy. That’s just to get a feel of a place, and if you LOVE it.. then you’ll return with a longer planned stay. 🩵✨🧜🏽♀️✨🩵
I did my research about the do’s and don’ts for Dubai. I spent 26 years in the military and know there are different rules for different countries. I’m going in December, I’m excited.
It really is a good idea to research the culture and laws of a country BEFORE you plan a visit. See how they treat women, especially black women. Surprised the tour company did not let you know the tea.
If you travel to a different culture-- expect different rules & customs. That includes racism. We gotta deal with that EVERYWHERE-- so that's not an exclusively Dubai issue. The entire point of traveling is to experience a different place, different people, different culture. DIFFERENT. If you don't like things that are different from what you are familiar with-- you should probably stay home. Like how you gonna go to Dubai....DUBAI... and complain about the heat? You know it's in a desert right? Come on fam-- you gotta do better.
Bruh you are so pressed about her telling her experience it's crazy lol she not even complaining, just telling us how it was ? Why click the video then lol
@@williamcooper3902 yes! I wish we had men with us.. I was very uncomfortable.. and that doesn’t happen for me (growing up in the inner city you see it and hear it all) but even I was worried
Thank you for the honest review.. I’ve never had the desire to go to Dubai… something about it seems odd.. but my friend is there right now and she text and said.. never again!! Said the ppl there were so rude to them (they are young black women) but she would give me details when she gets back. I do understand different places and cultures have different standards/laws about dress codes and drugs/sex etc.. so those things also influence where I go, but I think discrimination is the biggest thing.. I would feel completely uncomfortable and on guard and would miss any type of “beauty’s within a place because I can’t see past some stuff..
Me too it’s like a weird feeling about that place! I totally agree abt not visiting places that don’t align with ur core. The discrimination is too much! My ancestors went through enough discrimination to last 1000 generations I’ll avoid it every chance I get.
I’m so sorry about your experience. I just came back from Dubai… custom didn’t ask question or did all that. It was smooth but during the trip… I probably was mad 75 percent mad because some of this people are greedy when it comes to money and they have lie to me. I felt like people over hype Dubai. I spend way to much money in Dubai I made a lot of mistakes but it’s all good. I was just happy to back in Houston Texas. I travel a lot myself but this experience did not change me.I would rather go back home (Congo Central Africa ) because it’s my home and I would be more comfortable than Dubai. Even though Dubai was very safe for me I didn’t have any issues. But Dubai is not like place I would go back anytime soon not even 2 years from now. Thank you for this video I learn a lot today.
Keeping it real! Finally found you and an HONEST review of Dubai… every other person that does videos on traveling to Dubai constant say the same things: “So so amazing”, “Dubai is super cool”, “my life has changed since going to Dubai” etc… mind you they all sound like they have just joined some kind of strange cult. As a fellow American 🇺🇸 sorry to hear you had trouble entering UAE / Customs, but it sounds like they were definitely fishing for contraband … but no one ever reports on this honestly… so thank you for giving a brutally honest review of your experiences… it’s much appreciated !!
Thanks, I know a ton of folks didn’t like my view on Dubai but it's my experience.. and overall it wasn't an awful experience but to be honest I’ve had more fun in Vegas 😁😂
@@ShareseNicole Haha… Right On! It’s sad that you said people that say nice things about Dubai have some sort of cult deceptions, everyone has different experiences in Dubai but saying it’s like a cult is mad disrespectful to the culture and the country. The country is Islamic so everyone there is mostly covered unlike the United States everyone here dresses more openly and less clothing more or the skin showing we should all respect different cultures and religions.
@@Jeonxenon I was referring to the people that made a series of videos at that time… what I said had absolutely nothing to do with the people or culture of Dubai. Please do not insert words into what I said to make it mean something else please.
I would have covered my body from head to toes with a light fabric because daaamn! The sun is strong. Their culture of covering up (besides their religion) is also to protect themselves from the sun, which also men do.
I went to Dubai in 2015 and loved it. Did you go to Ski while you were there? I am going back with my group but it will be Dubai and Bali in November 2024. You’re welcome to join us
I’ve been Dubai several times, and never had such experiences, in fact they’ve been really welcoming, I guess it all boils down to the individual’s experience.
U lying to yourself as well ain't nowhere on this planet that Blacks go to that don't experience things of that nature and u say u been there several times but to do what stacey dash
Did you research the season, weather, customs of the country, religion and whats allowed, best time to travel etc? Seems like you traveled the wrong time of the year. Perhaps, try visiting when the heat is not so extreme.
Dubai looks pretty. Those laws scare me though. I don't want to end up in jail If I make a simple mistake. Even just saying the wrong thing could get you arrested. God forbid a man hurts me while there. Woman have been arrested for the crime of being raped. If things change in the country is the only way I would visit.
Oh wow.. I’m upset with myself for not doing more research because when we went to “old Dubia” I think that’s what they called it, I was sooooooo uncomfortable shopping because the men were so aggressive… boarded line scared
@@ShareseNicole it's not uncommon in Dubai for their relentless discrimination towards women through the laws setup. Dubai believe it or not is a mecca for foreign women (potential n IG models). These women are usually paid to come to Dubai to be degraded on by Saudi menand unfortunately many of these women are willing because money talks. This also explains how the Saudi also view western women as general trash. The downside is that many of these women don't think it through. You can't just carry $40k let alone $10k out of the country without revealing the source of income. The cycle is...they get lured, go through a relentless degrading week, get paid, gets stop at custom. Either leaves with no money in hand or arrested. The money gets recycle back and the women leave with nothing. Any women caught sleeping with another individual outside of marriage is punishable by large fine and jail time. In the case where a woman agrees to certain foreplay but ends up getting gang r*pe by the men. She's basically on her own! This applies to western women and other foreign women. As far as your negative experience at the airport with the whole interrogation ordeal. I'm sorry that happened to you ladies. Black people especially black women regardless if you are African or not are seen as the bottom of society by Saudi standards. Many of the helpers (slaves...they do exist) that gets hired to work for a Saudi family is usually imported from Africa. Often times, these women are not being paid, held hostage and work for decades. Their system design that such activities can occur but little can be done because any sense of truth or justice only means retaliation and yet again jail time. I've been to Dubai twice and as long as you steer clear away from the things that takes place and turn a blind eye...you can have plenty of fun. As for women...most women are being used especially if they are there for other than actual tourist travel. I'm Thai but live in California. One of my friends that studied here is from Dubai and his family has two helper. Where they from, I didn't ask but they looked to be African descend. Slavery was abolish in the 60's-70's from outside pressure. However this hasn't stop that practice from continuing.
And in the airport you will have to be checked because you might have some bombs like last year they found out that 3 iranian woman had bombs like ?????
Me and my boyfriend want to go but he said if we want to go out to town I have to wear a white robe that covers me up?? And we also can't hold hands in public???
I’m 43, I’ve known since a little girl to stay away from the Middle East and other areas… are there no parents that are aware enough to warn their daughters and sons from going there. Some parts of South America, China and Middle East and certain parts of Africa are places you do NOT go. When my cousin moved to EUA we were all like “what’s wrong with you?” Those cultures have had the same mindset for hundreds even thousands of years… these are the places where a woman gets raped and she’s the one that goes to jail. Many of these places are trafficking hubs. It’s just certain places would NEVER be on my bucket list because it’s too much of a gamble. There are many other places to travel to have a good experience. Keep in mind you don’t have to give these people your money. Why continue to feed them the money you worked so hard for to feed into the hype of whoever is using their platform as a trap because obviously they don’t either.

Dubai is a MUSLIM country…It is NOT Las Vegas and yes, you must cover up…Dubai has strict laws and tourists must OBEY laws. Research laws and customs before visiting.
And those Muslim laws that allow for foreigners to be taken captive and held into slave wage labor to build hotels is that a part of their laws and customs too?
Come on girl, you mean to tell me that you didn't know that Dubai was a Muslim country and they have restrictions that if you break the rules you can be put in jail or that you can be killed for. Women are second-class citizens and you better not be seen as gay, it is no place to get in trouble at. The photos you are showing are just beautiful, that is as close as I'd like to be with Dubai. But be respectful of their laws.
My friend told me before we booked the trip but I guess it was one of those things that I had to experience but I’m good now 😂 believe me, it’s not my lane…
Your extremely rude and exaggerating completely! Firstly, it’s not Dubai’s fault that the heat is very hot, living in the Dubai my whole life I don’t understand a word of your negative side of Dubai, yes it is hot and I agree but it’s of course Dubai can’t control the weather, and you have to learn to respect the culture and laws and rules of different countries!!

Thank you for this. I may put Dubai on the backburner - I'm a little tited of the escalated drama at Customs when I travel, including Canada (although, everytime I had issues, it was a white man set me on my way and cut the drama short).
I've been there several times. Never remotely experienced or witnessed anything like she's explaining. The dress code is NOT strict in Dubai. I was really surprised after watching people like her. Most people don't plan to be naked on vacation.
Thanks for sharing. Always good to hear other perspectives. I've been taking groups of for almost 20 years and we've never experienced this--and we are black women. I always wear what I want (with respect to the religious places and things like that). I hate that you had that experience because it's such an amazing place. It's a Muslim country, you have to cover up in mosques only. Nowhere else. People wear anything they want. Dubai is not hot, it's extremely humid. It's a desert after all. In winter weather is mild to cold. There's so much diversity in Dubai and with that comes many cultures with differing behaviours. The area you visited are mainly Asian sales people and they not the most sophisticated people on earth. They stare at all women and in your face kind of sales habits. Emiratis (UAE Nationals) generally keep to themselves in public. The customs guys don't only check blacks as you said yourself your friends that came through at another time did not have the same experience as you. Dubai is very strict on drugs as the US customs are. The last few years has been hectic with drug traffickers oing through their airports. It wasn't personal, I believe so. It was unfortunate that you had a bad experience which you believe was racially motivated, but I can assure you it happens in black countries to bkack women as well.
I don't think she meant customs only checks black people. She probably meant the majority of people getting searched were black. Almost the same scenario happened to me in Morocco.
I have flown to Mexico several times and on a few occasions my luggage has been checked item by item it seems but never have I thought it was racially motivated. I’ve seen the same thing happened to non black people. And believe me there’s nothing racist about Mexican people. Some of the sweetest and welcoming people in the world. Sometimes we as black people can jump too many conclusions about race. We must learn to give people the benefit of the doubt and it’s not like we’re perfect when it comes to race 🙄
Why didn’t you do your research before going. I have traveled the world for all my life even before the internet, we went to the library. Remember that American is in a class of it’s own and if you are going to other cultures you have to respect their culture. Checking weather before you go on any trip is the norm, even if it’s one state away you have know even to have a umbrella. I am from the airline industry and when I traveled it was important to not perpetuate the title “Ugly American traveler”.
Great information, I'm getting ready to travel to Egypt. I believe culture is the same coming down to being covered up. Glad to hear you made an uneasy situation concerning entering their country to having a awesome experience after all. Thank God for good ole USA
Hey how was ur Egypt trip? I’ve been contemplating going myself but my friend told me his mom and sister got hustled by the police at the airport. Said they followed the taxi to the hotel and said they provided an escort and they needed a tip. Then another friend told me that at the pyramids ppl are just shoving stuff in your face telling you to buy.
@@mrsonpoint From one Dee to another, I went with a group. We had security and a tour guide. When we were traveling from Cairo to Aswan and Luxor our bags were constantly being checked. The overall I had a very nice time, especially with the group. About to travel again next year to Morocco with the Travel Divas. Hop aboard you will have a awesome time.
@@mrsonpoint I've only heard terrible stories about Egypt there are some big youtubers and smaller channels who have shared their experiences all equally as bad. I haven't gone there muyself all I can say is be careful and research well. Don't go by yourself.
Notwithstanding the unpleasant, differential treatment you were subjected to upon arrival, please keep in mind that being situated in a region with high tensions, inveterate hostilities, and safety concerns, they are doing their best to keep the masses safe. I do understand your frustration with the treatment at the airport, but in all fairness you cannot expect them to revamp their entire social and legal systems just to please the foreigners who may have broader liberties at their homelands. We Americans are too spoiled in our own country and therefore we take exception to the rules and the rites of other nations. Like many other have suggested here, I think you should research your destination and their DOs and DON’Ts before venturing a trip there.
Who the hell told you that you had to cover up??? 😂😂😂🤣 my wife is from here and she doesn’t cover. Her mates from Kenya love it here they don’t suffer any racism either and they don’t cover at all they dress in skimpy dresses with no issues at all! Plus you state you stayed in the Marriott Marquis most women in there dress in short cut dresses. Also when you said you went to the city you went to is called Deira not old Dubai that’s full of Indians and Pakistanis not Arabs 🤣🤣🤣 plus you could have told them to get away from you and they would run with the fear of police coming to their shop. From watching your video I think you enjoyed it if you didn’t you wouldn’t come back. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COVER UP THAT IS COMPLETELY NOT TRUE that is very misleading for viewers watching. If you go to a mosque it’s seen as disrespectful not to cover shoulders and knees that’s for both men and women. Also you never come to Dubai between June and September. Again il say it again YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COVER IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (Dubai).
Witnessed it with my own eyes... Girls were asked to go back up to their room to put on cover ups referring to swimsuits..they could not go to the pool party already in their swimsuits... I've never been anywhere where that's a problem... AGAIN, I shared my experience and that was at the Marquis so 🤷🏽♀️
@@ShareseNicole Who told you to go upstairs and cover up? The police? Someone of any legal standing? I believe you but I would love to know who told you as that’s crazy
Sir, you are white and your wife is arab that's what I got from another comment of yours. The same rules don't apply to black people especially women. Most people in Dubai think black women there are prostitutes, which is far from the truth. Her experience is legit. I had friend dress provocatively after I and our mutual friend told her not to and she experienced maltreatment because of it. Black women definitely have to move different in Dubai. When I go I dress high class, so they assume I'm rich and I don't get approached in a weird way, but they definitely make assumptions based on your race.
Girrl! Thank you so so very much for this information. I truly had my heart set on going here for my birthday. But no THANKS. Everything negative thing that you said was everything that i despise the most about people, places, airport check-in, etc.
This video so inaccurate. There are many Africans in Dubai. Also you must not of went to Dubai marina. They have a few bars that they do not care about how women or anyone dress. Best time to go is in March or April for anyone curious!
Working on being rich but definitely still work for a living 😂 we were on a payment plan paying for the trip.. the group that I went with had great payments options and I guess I’m spoiled because any other travels abroad, my dad has paid.. I think this trip was about $2100 per person (not including flight)
Why would you go to a Muslim Country, apparently you must stand for something with that plaque on your wall behind you,.....you think the play when women there disappear forever sometimes.
This is so sad to hear all this negativity about the city I had been living for 8 years and that I Know extremely well all this it’s not 100% true. We can dress with whatever we want here, I had never had to cover up (only to go to the mosque in Abu Dhabi) Sex toys are not allowed here, they will take them away from you at the airport and you will not be in danger for that or anything, drugs are not allowed here as well as the whole rest of Asia. I am black, 70% of the Arabs are dark skinned, so people don’t look at you weird for being black, but because you were a tourist and you are too many walking around next to each other and that normally Calls people attention all over the world… I had seen the destination dubai crew and it called my attention several time … it’s 200 people walking next to each other like sheeps being pastored hahaha Every time I go to USA I get to the whooooooooole airport experience you went through each and every time…. Even my shoes had been broken to find drugs in USA 🥺 without excuse, without refund nothing… not even an apology. There is lots going on in Dubai as well as all over the world, not city it’s perfect. But it’s sad how people make a whole perception of the situation and make it into a negative thing and tag the place as THAT!!! Arab culture it’s loud, that’s why I can understand the you sensed aggressively from the sellers in the Gold Souq or Old Dubai ( most of them are from Pakistani and India ( two different Asian countries ) … but if you smile to them, keep on walking and tell them, “No Thanks Habibi I don’t need” they will let you alone …. They are just trying to sell and promote their products they don’t want to harm you. If you even give them attention they will take you to the store, seat you down and the 1st thing they will ask you is, Madame, what would you like to drink? Do you need a coffee, water ? … No bad intention… This kind of selling happens all around the markets all around the world… I had lived in 6 countries and I had travel all over the world I know what I am saying… Dubai it’s hot from May till October - that’s the summer here… if you come in high season that it’s from October till may ( tickets, hotels etc etc are more expensive in that time, that’s why destination dubai it’s affordable… ) the weather it’s perfect. You are always welcome back to Dubai. As you said your experience became negative since you arrive at the airport ( where energy goes, energy flows, you brain got hooked up on finding negatives and not positive, that’s pure psychology and energy ) And by the way the Ferrari Word it’s in Abu Dhabi, that’s a whole another Emirate and it’s the capital of UAE. Dubai it’s extremely Safe, there is endless job opportunities here, it’s a cosmopolitan city, always changing and evolving, advance in technology, entertainment never stops. I will not say dubai it’s perfect nor I want to make it look perfect, but I could not pass this video and be cool with listening all those things that are different to the reality.
Your reality is your reality… I stated only my truth, my experience… if any experience made me or anyone I’m with uncomfortable that’s just it… if you watched the entire video I also spoke about how I enjoyed my time with my friends, you assumed that because I had all these different experiences it ruined my time… nope because my glass is always FULL… but just because I made the best of it doesn’t mean I will return it’s too many other beautiful places in the world that I have been to that don’t make me feel that way (arriving or during any other time of my stay)… and coming from a heavily populated tourist city (Chicago) the people that I keep in my circle don’t stare at tourist.. they are in large groups and they are clearly minding their sightseeing business… the men were aggressive, doesn’t matter what the intentions are the delivery is wrong for me.. (again me, personally not my style) it sounds like you’re making excuses instead of accepting my experience for what it is… just my experience 😂 I don’t get it! If someone made a video about how unbelievably dangerous and rough it is in Chicago and they would never come back who am I to tell them they are wrong… that’s their experience… I can’t take others’ experiences personally and I surely can’t doubt that they experienced it
Their temperature is not for functioning human beings. That temperature is for camels only. We had to stay indoor most of the time , the beach was not possible to go. After 1 hour we felt our body was dying out or something like that. Really horrible
As a man I've visited the Dubai Gold Souk and they were very aggressive...even followed me for a bit....long story short, I'm stubborn, so I didn't buy ANYTHING! I'm supposed to be here for 3 years but um....I will say this though....no police harrassment here...no gun violence...no violence in general....I'm going to keep it positive for now.
First I must say thank you for sharing your experience & sorry that your experience started out being so negative. May be when you make that trip to go to Ferari World it will be a better experience. I have been to Dubai & Abu Dhabi 3 times & I have never had that experience. We were a small group of 20 with Majestic1 Vacations International. No airport or immigration issues. Our Tour Guide met us outside of the airport terminal where our bus was. On our drive from the airport to the hotel she updated us on cultural norms & what to expect, when & where you need to cover up. It was in the month of October & our tours were also pre planned. Even venturing out to places the mall, Ferrari World, Ski Dubai, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab Hotel & other locations, we had no issues. The only time we were required to cover up was entering any place of worship. We did the tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi where covering up was mandatory. Outside of that , we wore regular clothing, Tee Shirts, Tank Tops, jeans, leggings dresses etc. with no issues. The one thing that stood out for me is the men will almost knock you over to get in that elevator ahead of a woman. So ladies watch out for that . I can't say that they are ill mannered because that's their culture & its what they are used to. I just smiled, kept on moving & enjoyed my trip. Would I return to Dubai ? Absolutely !
I lived in Dubai for 4 years; I am an African American woman. I hated it there. It’s an international hub so it shows you that colorism is global. It can be a fun time but people didn’t treat me respectfully until they heard my American accent. If you do go there please do your due diligence and research the laws and act accordingly.
Watched them stop every black person one by one… as they went through every piece of my luggage… and I’m very aware of my surroundings but at first I thought maybe I’m tripping until my friend got done and she said “ so they ONLY gonna stop the black ppl” then I was really watching to see and not one black person walked through without being checked but my friend, that flew in early that day, had a completely different experience… arrived the same day but maybe a 6 hour different
I myself never was in Dubai but my friend was. She is American (white if it’s important) and she traveled with her boyfriend who was born in China but he moved to America with his parents when he was 9. Anyway when they were on an airport only my friend got this “deep” check and stuff. I don’t want to be rude but we agreed on that it’s maybe because they don’t like Americans (or just don’t trust them) because when she asked another lady that went thought this check she claimed that she’s also from America.
Do your research before you travel to other countries. Don't spend you hard earned money to board a plane to spend it in a country that does not respect you, or tour colour. Migrant workers in Dubai. Watch the documentary here on TH-cam. Tells you everything about Dubai.

They even wanted me to send to jail for one slap on another guy who took my $2000. The corruption and racism is on highest level. People think DUBAI is like Europe or USA. But DUBAI is not even 1% of it. There is no human rights. There are many things that they politicize in public but very dark inside DUBAI in reality. DUBAI is not the place to go n I just wrote because you asked for research. Go somewhere else. DUBAI can Issue fine for small things. I guess it boils down to personal experience but I have been in Dubai for 4 years. A lot of my friends have come over and I have never experienced or my friend experiences anything you're talking about. It's been very nice here and I honestly prefer here to the US. And also one thing I have noticed is that it's always African American complaining. You will hardly find a Black African complain
When it comes to immigration officers 👮♀️ any country any nationality can be randomly picked. It’s the law. Travellers need to respect the laws period. Why do people think they can change or have a waiver 😮. Pre travel information does not lie. Happy travels 😊 you are only there for a few days ANYWAY

I also have a colleague who went to teach there for a few years and she said that the racism is off the charts and the male chauvinism and sexism also not good for a woman.
that's crazy and scary but i'm not surprised.
Good, what did you expect, hopefully this will show you broads how good you got it in America, no feminism crap over there.

Seems like it is just Black Americans having a hard time in DUBAI. I know a few black people who have visited and have had no probems

When you are traveling as a black person the first thing you should do is research how racist the country you are going to is. As a rule of thumb I only travel to majority black countries.
I agree!! And I see why 💪🏽
You should try coming to Europe. You are more than welcome as a black person here 👍😎
I agree as a muslim too.

Omg Italians are so racist.
They screamed at me whilst checking my luggage, and the whole entire trip I never saw any other Ethnicity there, and if there was they would walk fast and not look anyone in the eye!

Right onnn port-a-p0tty🤣🤣🤣

Oh wow 😂 yep that's how I felt... I wouldn't discourage anyone because they could have a different experience but I just won't be returning... 😅

Your lying, which Dubai did you go to, when I came to UAE I saw different things, I see whites wearing with shoulders out, black gals, people at the airport port wearing the way they want bats out. I have lived in Dubai for 5 years besides security here is so strict they don't paly games so let people do their job that's why UAE is one of the safest cities in the whole world, In America people on streets have guns like how do u even walk besides someone with a gun, here in UAE it can take u forever to see a gun anywhere, u can forget your phones or laptop 💻 anywhere and you will still find it or u will be called, about the sun, ur talking about the sun too much but that's UAE bby gal you were coming to a desert 🏜️ hellow 🥺. UAE is a country to visit please Habibi come to Dubai
You lost me at calling me a liar… 🙄 you should humble yourself because for you to think I care enough to lie to you or ANYONE on this app is beyond laughable… for the thousandth time, I shared MY and I repeat MY EXPERIENCE!! Y’all are weird! I would never let someone else’s experience get me so upset… SMH

Thank you for this. I may put Dubai on the backburner - I'm a little tited of the escalated drama at Customs when I travel, including Canada (although, everytime I had issues, it was a white man set me on my way and cut the drama short).
I def understand ✊🏽❤️
We canadian are fine.
I've been there several times. Never remotely experienced or witnessed anything like she's explaining.
The dress code is NOT strict in Dubai. I was really surprised after watching people like her. Most people don't plan to be naked on vacation.
Dubai is definitely on your bucket list! Her review seems to be an isolated experience - it's not very typical at all here.
@@france1437 you are white so you don't have any problem. They have problem with blacks and 3rd country nationals.
I lived in Abu Dhabi for 3yrs, the Grand Mosque is some straight outta Disney shit

Thanks for sharing. Always good to hear other perspectives. I've been taking groups of for almost 20 years and we've never experienced this--and we are black women. I always wear what I want (with respect to the religious places and things like that). I hate that you had that experience because it's such an amazing place. Never even had the aggression from the men...they are always the coolest with us. Most of the girls in my group have gone with me several times and can't wait to go back. But I'm glad that your trip was fun otherwise. This is a Muslim country, so as long as you respect the rules of their country, you will have a good time.
I went to Dubai two years ago & they stopped my son at the airport. It wasn’t a bad experience we had an amazing even though things were closing due to the pandemic. I always dress the same way I’m from Chicago so it was fine. Those men are very aggressive but I had the same experience in Ghana & Egypt
Single mothers shouldn't travel alone
What area in Dubai did u goooo
My Wife is going with her Sister and 2 Cousins as a Girls Trip even though one of her cousins is bringing her Husband. My wife Obviously didn't consult with me before agreeing and booking with her Cousins. I don't mind her going. She is Born in Haiti and her Cousins are Haitian also. Haitian's don't Identify Racism the same as Other American Blacks.I am American Black and I'm not a Party Animal Like My wife's Family so I guess that's Why I was Excluded. Now that the warships got Attacked I am Wondering about this trip, I hope My wife Makes it with no Problem because it seems to me she Risked a lot by Going on this Trip.
Hello. If you don’t mind me asking, How much did Destination Dubai charged for that package?
I think it was like $2600 per person.. but not sure
Hi. You mentioned that it was extremely hot. Which month did you travel to Dubai? I’m going next month so I’m curious about the weather.
End of September
When it's super hot... it's cooler for you to be covered...other wise your skin and your insides have no shading and you're just roasting
Yes they are desperate and will be very persistent in making you buy something. The best thing to do is ignore, once you entertain them it will get worse.
I hate you experienced that but I'm going it's a most

I’m asking this because I walk around in shorts no top on and my wife would walk in her bikini to the beach from hotel it’s so strange that someone said it to you guys. I believe you but I would love to know who told you as that’s crazy
@@stuartgrehan8382 You need to respect the culture and the religion.
@@dennykeaton9701 what are you talking about??
Sir, you are white and your wife is arab that's what I got from another comment of yours. The same rules don't apply to black people especially women. Most people in Dubai think black women there are prostitutes, which is far from the truth. Her experience is legit. I had friend dress provocatively after I and our mutual friend told her not to and she experienced maltreatment because of it. Black women definitely have to move different in Dubai. When I go I dress high class, so they assume I'm rich and I don't get approached in a weird way, but they definitely make assumptions based on your race.
We just got back and had no problem. But i also heard things have changed over the years.
You lost me at the no “fun toys”. I’m good 😂
🥴😂 that “fun toy” took me out 😂
😂😂 okay, because I thought I made a video about my experience… and my experience is as ACCURATE as it comes.. but you got it
Who tells y’all the police?
Hi. One question:
Are you a student or have to work for a living? Or are just born rich and can afford jet set lifestyle? Thanks.
Working on being rich but definitely still work for a living 😂 we were on a payment plan paying for the trip.. the group that I went with had great payments options and I guess I’m spoiled because any other travels abroad, my dad has paid.. I think this trip was about $2100 per person (not including flight)
@@ShareseNicole Thank you Sharese. Nice dad good man. Rich country.
Why would you go to a Muslim Country, apparently you must stand for something with that plaque on your wall behind you,.....you think the play when women there disappear forever sometimes.
I am telling you DONT GO TO DUBAI, DONT TAKE YOUR MONEY TO DUBAI
If you’re African American and not famous don’t go there...
Explain
So the town your talking about is an old town all arabs left and indian guys probably work there you won't like find any emarati there working
Must do homework before going to another country. Learn their customs
Are you implying that she did something wrong and there wasn't any racial bias involved at the airport search
People let us please go where We and our black dollars are Respected and Valued. Y'all ain't fed up of burning to learn?
This is so sad to hear all this negativity about the city I had been living for 8 years and that I Know extremely well all this it’s not 100% true.
We can dress with whatever we want here, I had never had to cover up (only to go to the mosque in Abu Dhabi)
Sex toys are not allowed here, they will take them away from you at the airport and you will not be in danger for that or anything, drugs are not allowed here as well as the whole rest of Asia. I am black, 70% of the Arabs are dark skinned, so people don’t look at you weird for being black, but because you were a tourist and you are too many walking around next to each other and that normally Calls people attention all over the world… I had seen the destination dubai crew and it called my attention several time … it’s 200 people walking next to each other like sheeps being pastored hahaha
Every time I go to USA I get to the whooooooooole airport experience you went through each and every time….
… No bad intention…
This kind of selling happens all around the markets all around the world… I had lived in 6 countries and I had travel all over the world I know what I am saying…
Dubai it’s hot from May till October - that’s the summer here… if you come in high season that it’s from October till may ( tickets, hotels etc etc are more expensive in that time, that’s why destination dubai it’s affordable… ) the weather it’s perfect.
You are always welcome back to Dubai.
As you said your experience became negative since you arrive at the airport ( where energy goes, energy flows, you brain got hooked up on finding negatives and not positive, that’s pure psychology and energy )
And by the way the Ferrari Word it’s in Abu Dhabi, that’s a whole another Emirate and it’s the capital of UAE.
If someone made a video about how unbelievably dangerous and rough it is in Chicago and they would never come back who am I to tell them they are wrong… that’s their experience… I can’t take others’ experiences personally and I surely can’t doubt that they experienced it
I had the same experience when travelling through Dubai, I was the only black woman stopped and search, all the other white people were not!
but it's the people in these comments making EVER excuse in the book for this treatment SMH
Most Arab countries, especially in the souks, like to haggle
She wanted you to give her a gift from your stuff. I have had this with an egyptian custom officer
They don’t do that with Jamaicans. You watched other nationalities go through with ease at the airport or other ethnicities?

OMG i am soooooo sorry for all humans that has to go through discrimination. Its not fair...🥺😞😒
