    Got a new mobile dog groomer today, who just started last month. She and her husband remodeled a Dial-a-Ride small bus, and it was so amazing inside, I told her George Clarke would call it "brilliant."

    Lovely program. The horse carriage is incredible and what a beautiful family. I love the teepee but I wonder as well what happens when it rains. Thank you so much for this upload.

      I thought that as well. There is a reason why UK is green! As they say in Yorkshire - it could be quite 'parky' there much of the year. Also, being practical, no mention of a toilet and washbasin!

    My wife and I really enjoy these videos. We chuckled a few times at the use of the word 'homely'.' In Canada we'd say 'homey.'

      Yes, the same here; "homely" in the U.S. means unattractive. I smile when they use it for hygge.

      Homely is the correct English term.

      In America, homely means an unattractive person, usually a woman which is demeaning.

    Of all the amazing spaces that George and company have presented, this is my favorite object of desire. The home is a cathedral; a glorious spiritual minimalist environment for family living and inspiring art object collections display. This place will haunt me. If anyone knows the name of the architect, please share.

    Apropos the tipi... strange that the subject of RAIN (it's England... it rains every other hour, somewhere) didn't come up: The entire structure is open (couch, seats, etc.) and the canvas isn't treated. If waxed, it could be water-proofed... but why does the program assume that we are not interested in details like this? And what about the rest of the area?? Surely there is SOME sort of plan???

      Teepee

    • @andreaandrea6716
      @andreaandrea6716 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@64deetee I looked this up and was going back and forth on this one... couldn't decide! (I love that you weighed in! Do you have a reason behind teepee as being correct? As it was taken from an Aural Language... there didn't seem to be a correct way (??) but I am ALWAYS curious and wanting to learn. I notice YOU are 'deetee' !!).

    • @64deetee
      @64deetee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andreaandrea6716 you might as well write tp. The least you can do is be gracious when corrected.

    • @andreaandrea6716
      @andreaandrea6716 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@64deetee Wait, WHAT?? That WAS gracious! There was no 'tone' with my comment. You corrected me and I ASKED about WHY it's 'teepee' and not 'tipi' ... because I WANT to know. I've run into both. When I went to research it, I didn't get much of an answer.
      How is being curious translated into 'not gracious'??? I am completely floored. I am one of the few people who actually LIKES being corrected because I want to know and I like learning (both my parents were teachers). I actually CARE.

      @@andreaandrea6716 It's tipi with alternative spellings of teepee and tepee. And yes, you were very gracious about their correction.

    Yes, homely, in N America means fairly ugly-not all English is equal.

    Waste of time the tipi build , soon as it rains all of a sudden everything gets wet through 🙁🙁👎👎

    Love the creativity. Could do without the trips to wealthy people's places in a fascist country.

    A villa in the so called Israel but in reality on stolen land of the Palestinian people shame on you to have gone there to do a story

    • @hrussell9677

      Jews lived in Israel thousands of years before Palestinians even existed. Try picking up a Bible. The ignorance and racism is shocking.
