NTSC is 59.97fps and PAL is 50fps, so ~120% or ~83%. The difference in PITCH is due to the CPU clock. NTSC is 1.023MHz, PAL is 0.985MHz, so ~104% or ~96%. (First % is when playing PAL software on an NTSC machine, second % is when playing NTSC software on a PAL machine)

so basically they compensated for framerate but forgot about the clock, makes sense
Thanks for posting this! NTSC on PAL sounds the best to me and slowing down the true version to 75% on TH-cam just wasn't quite scratching the itch.
