The capabilities of women have been so squelched by weak fearful men that civilization's progress has been greatly retarded. It is good seeing such a notable achievement as this by a Turkish woman reminds me of the glory days of Islam when science was advanced. Burçin Mutlu-Pakdil has inspired me, an old man.
I'm hoping that the reason she looks through the wrong end of that telescope at the beginning is because the filmmakers told her it would look better if she did it that way. If that's the case, it's unfortunate that she complied.
