When you truly realize that Sidon does all of his dramatic gestures out of his love and inspiration for Mipha really touches your heart. Mipha and Sidon are the two characters out of breath of the wild that hold a special place in my heart. The fact that their love, and even Link and Mipha’s love was broken by Ganon made it that much more satisfying to beat the living crap out of him.
I think that this is one of the only legends of zelda game where ganon truly took everything from link He killed his friends, and his apparent love interest. Not to mention he indirectly takes links memories, so he not only has none of the beloved memories he once had, but now he has to learn the hard way

Apparently it said somewhere in this game that Link had impressive swordsmanship skills at the age of four so I guess having children that are capable of big feats isn't super uncommon. I bet that he probably figured out how to get up that waterfall by the end of the day and raced her!
@@gemtail3125 Link can kind of stop time (like mid-air while throwing arrows or doing a counter attack) so of he could use that ability as a kid that probably helped him win a lot. Had to make up for strenght with speed
Yeah. Just read the Lightscale Trident's desciption, it says her spearmanship (why no spearwomanship bro?) is in a class all in its own. Also, I'm surprised that we didn't see Mipha battle with the Lightscale Trident OR heal, because we get to see the Champions use their signature weapons and champion abilities in the other memories. Pretty weird if you ask me.

Well if you played the game you would know that to stop Vah Ruta from destroying Zora’s domain, you would need electric arrows to shoot at it which would hurt Zoras (because they’re aquatic animals duh), also you would need the sheikah slate to control Vah Ruta and many other things that you need with the sheikah slate, which Sidon does not have but Link. And I’m pretty sure in the game Sidon says he tried his best to fix the situation but couldn’t do too much, and because of that Sidon did his best to help Link.
I used them all a little during the ganon fight then put them all in links house to rest, to me it was like saying” you’ve done everything your master wanted you to, now rest”

I love the way the music is utilized in this scene. The connection between Mipha’s theme and Sidon’s theme, showing her influence on him. And then the way it plays the Vah Ruta theme as Mipha’s taking him up the waterfall, implying that is what instilled the idea in Sidon for that fight. The soundtrack in BotW is wonderful.

I love the way the music is utilized in this scene. The connection between Mipha’s theme and Sidon’s theme, showing her influence on him. And then the way it plays the Vah Ruta theme as Mipha’s taking him up the waterfall, implying that is what instilled the idea in Sidon for that fight.
The soundtrack in BotW is wonderful.
Ya know when I saw Mipha give Sidon a ride up Veiled Falls I thought of how Sidon carried Link in the Reservoir...He must have been thinking about his avenging his sister and helping her dear friend when he let Link ride him
