I purchased this burner recently and it works great in a crusader cup mk1. A trangia will not even fit a crusader mk1 so this is awesome for that setup.
I like the mellowness of alcohol stoves compared to noisy manic gas jetboilers. I used the BV stoves + potstand last week for a 5 day trip and it performed perfectly well.
It's a nice stove for the money if you're not into making those sorts of things yourself. Alcohol stoves are easy to make, with a set of hole punchers and a Vienna sausage can and you have yourself a stove in about five minutes. The main thing is if you just want to heat something up quick or boil water to add to or rehydrate a meal, an alcohol stove is the ticket. Everyone should have one or more for emergency or survival purposes.
I like the concept of the alcohol stove and thought of adding one as another option but after watching a lot of videos on them, I didn't like the fuel performance or management aspect (the priming and the refill aspect for longer usage). Jet stoves are just so much more convenient. I have a jet stove as my primary with a titanium wood stove as a backup if the need to scavenge fuel from the environment becomes necessary.
Didn't that Lixada stove come with an upper plate to hold your alcohol burner? I have to check my supplies to see if I have the Bounless Voyage burner. I have several of their products, and they all are great quality.
Try pairing this with the Firebox Titanium Nano. Works great!

7:50 - Good boil time, even with this big distance from the pot. Ideal is 1" - 1.5"
Hello there! Thank you so much for this video! I had not seen alcohol stoves, this is Great! God bless!
you want sn empty boot polish or airgun pellet tin in the base then sit burner on top
Great for those who are concerned with weight. I bet an Esbit folding stove would work awesome

Thanks for yet another review of a high speed low drag piece of kit.$
That's a pretty nice price for a titanium stove, and improved performance.

Would it work in the Firebox? And how would you simmer? I’ve been eyeing this for awhile.

Can it be used to cook, or just boil water?
