      The problem with waxing, coating it leaves water droplets which SUCKS because if you dont wipe properly, it leaves water marks

      The uncoated side looked “nicer” because the water helps fill in the very little scratches and defects of the paint, making it look extremely smooth.
      Now if this were done on a windshield, clarity becomes an issue. If not ceramic coated, the water will cling onto the windshield, causing an extremely blurry view. If it was ceramic coated, the water becomes droplets, allowing for much better visibility through the windshield. Also helps with wiper blade longevity since you won’t need them cycling as much as before.

      Once you do drive the car. Say it rained the water and anything else that landed on the car will come off easier, hence thats why when a car is ceramic coated its easier to wash and keep maintained over all

      @bhavikpatel8286 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @santydagr8 the main thing ceramic coating does it make it easier to clean and maintain your car during washes and such. Another thing to keep in mind is that these true ceramic coatings(the ones in the tiny bottle that are pricy) also last a long time(3-5 years for some) and tend to be tougher than your clear coat sometimes. Plus if you put a ceramic coating on your windows it will help for better clarity during rainy weather by making it so the water would bead up and glide right off. This in turn will also make it so your wiper blades won't have to be used as often.
      Sorry about posting the wall of text just got carried away.

    yeah why is our ceramic sealant having this same effect .. it cost 20$ not 2000$ 😆 true coatings are luxury not a necessity in terms of protection.. its to much effort and cost and time vs these new spray coatings that give 4 to 6 months protection. basically obsoleted real ceramics because you can apply in a couple min. not 2 days of prep and another to cure.

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Our ceramic coatings don’t require 2 days to prep, and cure in an hour. While DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss is excellent, it doesn’t provide the same chemical resistance and protection as a true ceramic coating does.

    • @stephenlouden480
      @stephenlouden480 ปีที่แล้ว

      @diydetailofficial there are many spray sealants that do provide incredible chemical resistance. not as good as true coating but closer. and to most is not worth the money or time and prep to do a true coating. especially if you're maintaining your car regularly any good spray wax or sealant is by far fastest way to protect. so that is the way to go
