The Bav sound definitely sounds quieter and less boomier. Some guys call that tightness, but I don't know. I feel like the HK stock sub would be the system I'd prefer between the two.
5:30 thooo LMAO mans havin himself a tasty sammich. Appreciate your videos dude, very well thought out. Can relate to the enthusiasm of upgrading a bimmer. Just paid mine off so it's time to go mad scientist on that sob.
I'm running 1 bavsound 8ohm hooked to stock amp to help out the 4inch door speakers. 1 earthquake 2ohm with fosgate r250×1 for the sub and 5 jbl 422f door and dash speakers.
My 8-year-old Harman kardon system is not deteriorated any at all. But I'm sure the bath sound system should be better. I would like to see a full frequency sweep versus distortion graph.
The Harmon Kardon system in my 2014 428i coupe was outstanding and still going strong until I traded in for a new 2022 M440i gran coupe The HK in this new car absolutely sucks and I hope to upgrade to Bavsound soon.
@@JDCarsChannel Did you have/Do you have the Upgraded BAVSOUND AMP WITH THIS??? Or no.. *NVM* you mentioned this at the end that this is not even with the upgraded amp yet!!!! WOW. I really wonder which system is better. This or the Alpha kit from Bimmertech!!!
Stock Harman/Kardon sounded better on the 1st rap beat. On the rock beat, the Bav speakers sounded better. On the decibel comparison, the Bav definitely took it.
i have ghost subs for my e90 and have had them for a while(10months). I have the professional sound system with (logic 7). For $600 i am honestly not impressed.
@@oabdellatif Define subwoofer. They play around 30hz, so isn't that subwoofer territory? The 4inch speakers in the doors are midranges, they go down to 100hz and up to 4000hz I think.
@@maxl7827 by definition yes but by design no... They are considered low/mid speakers. They don't move enough air to actually get in that low sub range efficiently but they get pretty low nonetheless.
@@redvivid Yea 8 inch subwoofers are limited but Bmws top systems bang olufsen, bowers wilkins and individual audio all have a frequency response below 20hz. The subwoofers in Bmws are designed to work in that space, size and they use the whole cars body to create the bass and this is probably helping the most exactly on the low notes.

Beautiful home. Very calming.

they are not subs.
they're midrange speakers really.
Hey that's on you. Bavsound has a 100day money back guarantee. If you didn't like them or weren't that impressed you could have gotten a full refund.
