At 68 the GSM became so bad. No intercourse for several months, burning when sitting, etc. Tried Estrogen cream to start, then IntraRosa - which helped far more - but still not enough. So I chose Fotona vaginal laser treatments to restructure the lining of the vagina by stimulating fresh collagen fibers, etc. Healing from 2nd treatment and hope it’s enough. I also started systemic Testosterone and Estrogen patches along with 200mg micronized Progesterone. Living in Portugal it has been a big challenge! You need to see an anti-aging doctor to find Testosterone treatment for women. 🤦🏼♀️
I was male bolding with menopause , I bought Tongkat ali supplement my hair line is in recovery and crown , my doctor now gives me testosterone very low does gel , I take one pump every 4 day game changer 🎉
Completely agree with Dr Harper about local oestrogen cream being offered, starting in perimenopause. It needs to be a policy. I had to ask for it in my 50s, was never offered it, and my GP said it wasn't prescribed if on systemic HRT, as not needed. Having to battle every step of the way for basic menopause care is really unacceptable. We already know it's nothing to do with prescribing hormones, because no hesitation for oral contraceptives prescriptions. Having a policy for estriol cream would fix that and make all midlife women's lives better 😊xx
That’s why they refuse to give us women HRT, Pharmaceutical companies would not be so rich, doctors would see less patients! It’s about the money & they don’t care about us women’s health. I saved myself the trouble and drove to Mexico and bought the gel and oral estrogen.
I'm in Scotland and Intrarosa isn't available on the NHS here in Glasgow. Not because it isn't a great product, but because Theramex haven't made a submission to the Scottish Medicines Consortium for Intrarosa yet . This needs to change ASAP. If prasterone can help so many women, and it's prescribed elsewhere, it needs to be available here too. 😊xx
This was so great. I just started taking compounded oral testosterone Nov 2023, 3mg. My brain functionand brain fog improved. I am encouraged. I am trusting the process and not expecting to feel fantastic but feeling better and gaining the positives for taking it. I am not feeling as good as I did when I started it last year but I am hoping that it is life style factors that are contributing to this. I am so encouraged to just wait it out and see. I already taking estradiol and vaginal estradiol and progesterone which helps me sleep. The testosterone was the missing piece.
❤ Just found you today! ❤️ Thank you!!! Will keep listening to all you share. I am 58 and pretty good shape but I want to feel stronger be stronger have more energy and fix the libido which is lul these days. I live in Evansville Indiana I don't know if there's any doctors that would prescribe what you're referring to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all you do for the beautiful divine feminine in this world that we live in. ❤️💪❤️
So glad this popped up today, all adds to our knowledge and self help. I'm going between the private help and NHS. Just had a blood test where my GP said testosterone is a little high but I'll have another blood test in 3 or 4mths. I feel quite good but maybe my hair thinning that has been another problem is more hypo thyroid but I don't want them to stop my hrt.
I don’t know about external testosterone, but a lot of the women in my life (including the menopausal ones) are finding that standardized hot-water Tongkat Ali root extract has done wonders for their physical and mental wellbeing. My mum and girlfriend’s mum are having a tough time with menopause in particular, and this has helped a lot with the joint pain and hot flashes. They also feel more energetic and less moody. Not sure if it’s the healthy testosterone levels helping them or just hormonal balance in general, but they’re feeling a lot better than they have in months.
Is standardized hot-water Tongkat Ali root extract the same as Tongkat Ali? is there a difference? My mother has been going through a series of hot flashes and this could be something I should look into. Thanks for the info!
I took testosterone pellets for 8 mo. And it made my hair fall out and caused hair follicle miniaturization. I can't find any info on hair fall and follicle miniaturization in women following testosterone pellets. All the info is for men. Can you tell me, is my hair shaft thinning likely permanent or will it eventually return to normal?
Sorry if this is TMI. But I just realised that I have phimosis, and I had never heard of it before!! If I orgasm it hurts!!!! I never knew what was was wrong with me before thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍
So do we need more testosterone than estradiol? I’m taking 3 times more estradiol than testosterone. Should I be using more testosterone cypoinate than estradiol cypoinate?
Thank you both so very much 😊 I’m interested in your opinion on applying Androfeme on the vulva/clitoris instead of other areas (I’ve been on it already 6 months) Many thanks 🙏🏻

Curious about testosterone dosage for women to avoid male pattern balding.

You’d have to have levels i. The 300’s for that. That’s 3 times higher than women’s levels.

My understanding is that transdermal testosterone is safer and can’t convert to a compound we don’t want in the liver
Is it oral or a troche? From what I have read a troche enters the circulatory system like a cream would.
@cjko100 Oral. I don't know what the other one is you asked me about so I doubt it is that.

Do you hear a lot of reports on hair loss when taking testosterone?
If hair things use manoxadil or Rogaine (the one for men).
Mine got thicker!
Thank you both.
Thankyou for all this info cheers

@@aliefacmal it’s a single-sourced and clinically tested extract from Malaysia! Commonly known as Physta originally.
Do you advise a particular brand??
@@The_New_Abnormal_World_Order AKARALI 👍🏽
@@The_New_Abnormal_World_Order I’ve been using AKARALI (Physta) for a while now, but LJ100 is a good alternative if you are in the US
I'd like to watch this whole interview. Where can I find it?

I've hear that testosterone can sometimes increase DHT and cause male pattern baldness (in women). I hope that you find improvement!🙏🙏
I’ve read pellets are bad for women because the level is way to high.
Royal Jelly increases Testosterone
I want to know how you got that fabulous head of hair!
Thank you ladies. Estrogen isn’t giving me the lively feeling. Going to get levels tested and probably get on T.
I would love to be able to read the “data” where can we find this information?
My doctor said my testosterone is low, but not to worry since Im not a man and don’t need it.
Ugh. The lack of knowledge is disgusting.
Excellent. So glad I've found this.
Maybe you can buy him a copy of Dr Kathy Maupin's book, 'Testosterone, The Secret Female Hormone.'
You can get T online. Fire your doctor.
