I watched another video and became aware that 8.50 updates the external storage format so that it doesn’t work with any other OS. You might need to reinitialize the console back to factory, which will delete everything. If you decide to do this process make sure that you have the system software downloaded on an external USB storage device like a jump drive, as the initialization process deletes the system software as well
I took out the power cable and i dont see this menu, i only see ”Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 9.00 or later”. What should i do, i can press cancel or Ok.
Sooooo how do you do this when your power button doesn’t work and when you touch the copper piece it also doesn’t work. Aka I can only turn my PS4 on with my PS4 controller and off with the power tab.
Having trouble downloading RDR2 I loaded the data disc just fine, it's the game disc that stalls on me. Loads about 20% of it then stalls. I had the game installed previously from these same discs. The game started freezing on me then finally it would kick out the game disc and tell me the files were corrupted and I should delete, then re-install. So I did. I've cleaned the disc, have 1/2 my storage available, gone to safe mode and updated settings/rebuild data base, unplugged overnite. Other games like Uncharted, Madden 2019 work fine...just can't get this to download! Any ideas?
Will turning off my system via the power button while im on the ‘Connect the DAULSHOCK 4 using the USB cable, then press the PS button’ screen do anything to my system, because i couldnt connect my controller with the right cord, and i had to do that.

@@Persuadees my brother just took it to a shop and they fixed it. If the power button is like pressed down and stuck then it’s gonna be stuck in safe mode and you’re gonna need to try to get it unstuck. You get me?

@@erickfraire319 I took her apart and cleaned the power button, turned it on and for a first asked me to plug in USB with harddrive, hit ok then said I didn’t have one and shut off, turned it back on, waited, nothing, went and got my keys to buy USB and came back to it in the startup menu where you set your time zone !!!:)

When your also inside of Safe mode, the controller light in my case never turned on but you can still use the Dpad and analog sticks to navigate it.
I can’t even do that cause my power button is Brocken like the cover

U need a new hard drive I did it and got my ps4 back

If Option 1 restart console does not work you may need to initialize the system
