Vuk (D'Bari) - All Scenes Powers & Abilities
Vuk was one of the D'Bari who had escaped the destruction of their planet by the Phoenix Force. She and the surviving D'Bari followed the Phoenix Force across the universe to Earth, where Vuk sought to absorb its power from Jean Grey, who had merged with the Phoenix Force in space.

i rlly love watching jessica chastain in a villainous role, i loved her in crimson peak, her and charlize theron are my favorites with female antagonists

And casting Sophie Turner as Jean Grey was the ABSOLUTE WORST CASTING MOVE they could have made. She brings NOTHING to her character, or to the movie. Even when she's showing 'sadness', she's like an empty shell of a human being. No depth. No 'intangible' qualities like beauty, charm, charisma, sensitivity, sensuality, compassion... She's just a 'blah' character with nothing special about her performance at all. A fully CG character would have conveyed more human charisma than her. What a shame. These X-Men movies could have been SO much better had they cast anyone but Sophie Turner.
@@djbenje4019 To be fair, I've always thought that Jean grey as a character had a very boring personality, no charm or charisma, her powers are the only thing I liked about her while for some of the other characters, even if you take away their powers, they still have substance as a character.
Though I disagree on the beauty, Sophie Turner is definitely beautiful and she is a good actor for the most part.

@@djbenje4019 i actually really like sophie turner as jean grey - but having the same guy do this dark phoenix that also did the last dark phoenix was such a bizarrely bad choice. like what??? i think jessica was supposed to be Lilandra, thinking it would be the first of atleast 2 or 3 films covering the saga. when it was finished around the time fox was acquired by disney they decided to alter the character and close up this plot. in the future i think jessica would actually make a great jean grey - and sophie would make an excellent Lilandra - check her out with black hair. its great.
Now I need Jessica to play Enchantress(Amora) in MCU! I would love to see her in Thor 4 and that upcoming Agatha show as Amora!
Pretty sure Sylvie from Loki is eventually gonna adapt and merge with the enchantress storyline

" when i saw this in the theatres i exclaimed 'this is the best thing ive ever seen in my entire life and the script writer deserves an oscar, I then stood up and clapped for 15 minutes and had to be removed from the theatre by security

This movie was clearly inspired by the comics "Dark Phoenix Saga" from how jean got exposed in space by solar flare but it's clearly the Phoenix force, but they're missing some point and destroyed the actual storyline in the comics. The kinsberg Cut is more realistic and clear depiction unfortunately they'd never release that cut😢. If you guys watched the kinsberg cut plot , the story was completely, if not, more realistic than this film. The last part of that cut was Jean fighting the battleship of the skrull in space, and completely destroyed it less than a 5 second which is actually happened in comics. it's not only world of skrull being destroyed but the entire solar system upon eating their star D'bari. And the last part is Jean never become white Phoenix but instead she allow herself to be killed because she's slowly regaining strength enough to bring destruction of univere. I wish they will release that cut
but I liked this movie thou, The visuals /CGI was perfect
I heard Marvel didn't let them use the Skrulls because they were introducing them in MCU.
They changed a lot of it. In the early trailers we saw the Phoenix force have a fiery orange actual Phoenix look. The latest trailers and final cut of the film made the Phoenix force look like purple poop dust for some weird reason. Apparently the ending of the film was too familiar to captain marvel and this was the same time when Disney had all the rights to fox so it had to be changed

She has telekinesis too thats why she was able to hold some of the Phoenix powers, but not all of it since obviously she died in the end when Jean gave her all the Phoenix force.
OnlyTelekinetics and Telepaths can contain the Phoenix force, but not all of them can hold it in. It seems only Jean can.

Say what now? Yes Phoenix prefer n attracted to the host that has telepathy, or you can Psionic users..... but that doesn't mean others can't contain it. This is more like who the Phoenix chooses, It selected Jean here so Vuk can't contain it seems its not in favor with her hence reduced to atoms.
The current host of the Phoenix, Ecko, isn't a telepath or telekinetic and she is the most in tune with the PF than any previous host lmao. Where you getting your "facts"

This movie was weird as hell. It felt half baked, like they took a very important part out of it
They did reshoot the whole act 3 after it was finished. Just look at the trailers for the movie. They show the united nations attack.
I'm sorry that the saga ended with two critical failures. Had to do it on Deadpool 3 invitation. And so were the Gambit and X-Force filming.
Looking back here are a few things that could've made this movie a bit better. Getting rid of the Vux character and make her Emma Frost. I know that she died, but they actually could've brought her back. Before Emma died, she psychically transferred her mind into a new body. Emma enters the school under a false name (real name from the body she stole) as a teacher. Manipulating the team from within. Make Jean believe she wants to help her like before. Then reveal who she is and introducing the Hellfire Club. Make the Phoenix Saga a 2- or 3-part film. First would focus on Phoenix, Hellfire part 2, and then make Dark Phoenix part 3 or combined with part 2
She's great as a villain.

@dylan SW isn't powerful as the phenoix force but she has the power to defeat it and harm it, the phenoix force can't really harm Scarlet Witch tho. Also Jean is only a strong host for the phenoix, not the phenoix itself. Like all host, it's powers were limited bc it wasn't in its original form

Well , I don't know if anyone cares but the original villian was Emma Frost the White Queen and the same scene were Jean Grey ( Phoenix ) was played out . She thru physic maniplulation was into Jean's mind . Finally when Phoenix materialized she was overcome . Whole other league she was at and the scene of you can have the power is on the leader of Hellfire Club
The irony is, due to what happened to their planet, thee X- Men would have helped Vuk rebuild on another planet, had D'Bari not turned evil and tried to kill all humans & mutants.

clearly she was based off of emma frost originally, who was a great influence to the dark phoneix saga and was originally meant to be 1 of the antagonists in the original cut

Originally the villains were supposed to be Skrulls, but since Marvel/MCU has the rights (and also Skrulls are kinda the villain in Captain Marvel) they (Fox) has to scrapped the idea and just make Jessica and her other kind to be a different alien...

Help me out here, was there a reason why Vuk couldn't just take Jean's Pheonix powers from the beginning? Couldn't she just manipulate Jean into giving up her power and kill her afterward?
Vuk doesn't have telepathy so no she would have to get it from her physically. Also initially Vuk wanted Jean to restore her planet but then realized she wanted Earth instead ... so when she tried to take it from Jean it killed her cause ultimately the phoenix can only be contained by Jean just like in the comics.
I think Vuk aren't compatible with the Phoenix force that's why she got disintegrated
I think Vuk didn’t want to fight Jean cause Jean is much stronger so she tried to manipulate by coming off as a teacher until Jean admitted to not wanting the force which worked in her favor (until Jean started using it to protect her friends)
