I can understand not wanting to be with a cheater but, this was someone that was close enough to be talking about moving in and marriage, she had to have known at least some of the BS this sister put him through and she just automatically believed the selfish, self entitled, evil sister and wouldn’t hear him out at all. I agree, she’s definitely not marriage material

This might be a hot take, but if I'm ever accused of cheating and not given a chance to prove my innocence to said partner that makes the accusations, I'd never take them back once they find out on their own that I was in fact innocent. If your partner was so quick to believe the first person that makes up an accusation about you, then that should tell you that that partner holds other people's word above you as a person and will always do so. OP made the right choice by not taking back Kathy.

This is strange something similar happened to a person I worked with in my teens. His fiancé believed some bs about him cheating left him. The story differs from this because it was his brother. Chicky believed the brother and left him and made a huge scene in the store breakroom. She turned out to be preggers and even got an abortion. Next thing I remember dude unalived himself and everyone at work was kind of devastated. It wasn't until years later I learned that his brother had fabricated the stuff. What really must have sucked was chick found out it was all lies and so did the parents. They must have felt terrible. I did hear that the parents cut ties with their living son. That was according to grandparents who attended their church.
In the end I feel really sorry for the parents losing 2 sons and a grandkid. But like some of those very religious families where I'm from will just shun you when you do wrong. So hopefully people out there reading this won't just believe everything that is put in front of them and do research into whatever shits being told to them. You can't trust anyone these days accept yourself.

Ways to know that Telltales posted a fake story:
1). Too much information (especially at beginning).
2). Weird time jumps that usually has a big one at end.
3). The "commenters" aren't mentioned by name.
    4). Seems like a Lifetime drama/Soap opera.
5). Usually has a 1 vs the world theme / Do it for dan theme.
6). OP and characters usually goes against normal human nature example: OP gets assaulted in their home and doesn't call cops. Example 2: Person/people OP has problems with "Barge into" their home and again doesn't call police.
7). OP always has to ask reddit AITAH even though asking that question goes against Human nature of the OP being severely wronged.
8). Weird Updates that aren't needed.
9). OP reiterates things multiple times in a single "post".
10). Stating their feelings/how they feel "in the moment".
11). IRL laws do not apply. (Battery, theft, harassment, etc.)
12). Takes most of the video to even get to the title point.
13). When it comes to wills/inheritance, it usually is in the amount to live comfortably if smart or a huge outrageous amount that it doesn't make sense.
14). Has a "family business" that is "really successful".
15). Has abusive parents who do horrible things that are not acceptable or petty (such as abuse, unreasonable rules, favoritism or neglect) But the OP doesn't ask help from family members/cps while being able to do so. -@FinnishM3mes
16). Has crazy In-law that shows up with "legal documents" that supposedly is from a Lawyer over things that only a court can decide.
17). "So I'm obviously in the right but some random character(s) who's relatively unimportant to the story says I'm not so AITA?"-@conormac6293
18). Story is a movie script/OP and crew act like detectives.
19). Has an OP "rethinking" his choices because of irrelevant characters in the story. -@FinnishM3mes
20). Has unrealistic ‘bullies’ and the ‘villain’ in each story ALWAYS gets disowned or removed from the parents will by the end of each tale. -@SarahLovesBoobahandErEr
21). Has the AI Bingo! "Whirlwind of emotions" "rollercoaster of emotions" "Well, you see" "[person] apologized profusely" "Surrounded by love and affection". @fl-ri
22). Has a "dream world" or "Alternate universe" motif to it.
23). Has the "EDIT: Holy crap/OMG this blew up over night/in a few hours".
24). Actions of characters in story doesn't match human behavior. Like approaching someone after they get a restraining order against them right after the hearing to instate that order and make threats in front of attorneys.
25). ( should've been first but w.e.) When you reverse search the story, you can never find it as a whole. You usually find bits and pieces taken from multiple stories across the web not just reddit.
26). Legal documents somehow (mysteriously) gets drafted in a characters name without their knowledge or signature.
27). Legal actions don't work for OP but work for everyone else.
28). Disregarding certain culture norms like not owning technology.
29). The OP stays with/around a known violent person and then is "shocked" at how violent that person can be.
30). People who have problem OP or vice versa are up into themselves with their "social standing" like their royalty or something.
31). OP never records (we all have cell phones) the problem people admitting what they did wrong.
32). When the OP actually gets a restraining order, they fail to enforce it. ALL Protection/restraining orders state you may not use ANY 3rd party including other family members to violate the order. The 3rd parties do get used and OP never enforces the order.
33). Has the "Rules for thee, Not for me" motif.
34). Has a motif that paints OP as a saint.
35). OP says "“hey Reddit, I’m back” or just over mention of Reddit" -@madi554
36). Reuse of names from other stories posted. -@justroonhere
37). Usually a "Rich people problems" story.
38). Forgets the story points. Example: Finding out siblings weren't their parents kids at all and still claiming it to be true.
39). can't keep track of a character's name/interchangeably using two completely different names (e.g. John, Bob) for the same person. @charlottebarham7722
    40). doesn't credit the original Reddit poster (u/insertusernamehere) or the subreddit (r/relationships / r/bestofredditupdates...). -@charlottebarham7722
41). the whole story is to go against "x" problem, then OP in a roundabout way gladly accepts the same problem. Example: son tries to force out father from fathers home, in-laws buy out sons share but impose that the son has right to refuse the sell if ever sold.

OP is responsible for Thomas being hurt, but not because he revealed that Sandra was cheating but because of *how* he revealed the information.
He could have gone and told Thomas that Sandra was a cheater on a one on one conversation, but instead he choose the worst moment possible to do so. I understand he wanted to hurt Sandra badly, but he hurt *and* humilliated Thomas in the worst way possible as well. Hell, the only way he could have made it worst for Thomas was if he waited up until the wedding day to expose Sandra in front of both families.
Edit: But yeah, fuck Sandra, and I hope Thomas finds someone better.

      @Spagg0t 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I think it had more to do with the fact that OP made a public, impersonal show of it, instead of warning Thomas privately and presenting him with what evidence he had in a way that's more... tasteful, I suppose. So yeah, OP could've handled it better... but his sister could've also just not been a bitch.

U should’ve just recorded her admitting to it and, tho it would start off as weird, follow ur ex to her workplace and immediately tell her you have 100% proof of you being innocent: a video of her admitting to forging it. Before she says “GET AWAY FROM ME” immediately yell that I guess, why tf would they stop you if you said something like that

It's not your fault it's your sister's fault because she was jealous about his relationship so she ruined his relationship between Kathy and him and their parents favored her over their own son and she had an affair with another guy and that's not right and she should pay for her actions and go to hell for what she has done to him and if you guys can't see that then you guys are delusional and she doesn't deserve anything for believing her lies over his own son and their parents favored her over their own son and she a attention-seeking jealousy girl.

This is a fake sorry bro😂 I swear it's always (going back to see where I went wrong) wrong how tf did you do any wrong your sister liter showed her fake proof that you cheated and you didn't do anything at all if you knew you did nothing why would you go to the extent on trying to figure out when you did wrong when you clearly proved you did nothing wrong in the first place, it was your sister. This is also an AI who wrote this story.. not to the vid jist the original poster 😂 of the reddit story on reddit
