      I’d really like to see a full makeup look using Demi. I know it’s supposed to be subtle but sometimes it’s nice to be more glam. Can you demonstrate the balm and the other product that come together? Why are these tiny pans so much more expensive than llld?

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@angeleneparrramos8394 I definitely will be! Since you use so much less these last far longer than the tins of IIID creams. Each of these tins will last you 9-12 months or more, so the initial investment is just more.

    I just bought IIID 6 months ago and I am trying to get use to wearing all over color. I wish this had been an option when I had my party. I never wore facial makeup but with broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation so bad I finally jumped in. It will take a year for me to use the what I and save the money to start something new. It is really interesting and your face transformed beautifully.

    I thought IIID was a challenge to get to learn. I'm still working at it all the time to get it right. This DEMI is way too much too complicated over the top for me. Who has this kind of time to assess and play? I'm a Mom who wants to look good with some nice looking easy makeup. IIID's my jam. I love all your tutorials!!

    This is amazing! On rare occasions I wake up looking healthy. If I were to leave the house like that I’d eventually look in a mirror horrified because in everyday it looks rough. If I then apply a full face of base the healthiness is all caked.

    This is a great tutorial! I'm so glad I found it. I love the Demi line and how minimal the texture is - well, it's invisible! So good for those of us over 40. I also have a face full of colour (hello, freckles), so I doubly appreciated everything you demonstrated about tackling those under eye and freckly areas. :)

    Sarah is so good ❤️ she explains everything so well such detail.. honestly I would have looked into Demi had I known about it but I only just recently received my 3D makeup. I'm a newbie 😁🤣 However, once I get that down, then I would love to experiment with demi. I love the concept. Especially for somebody like me who was never really a big makeup person, never liked the cakey effect which is why 3D was right up my alley. I owe it all to Sarah because she was so instrumental with helping me. ❤️😘

  • @Michelle.Robinette

    I know it’s not intended to mix with IIID foundation. But could you color correct any major spots with this (for example just under eyes or blemishes-whatever your biggest distraction is that makes you insecure), and then do a light layer over with your normal highlight/contour/lip&cheek?

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know many people will do this, so I'm not going to tell you that you can't. But the main magic of Demi is that its invisible to the naked eye with no makeup texture....as soon as you layer it you will be able to see that again. Which is why its intended to be kept separate from IIID. I hope that makes sense. Its hard to explain until you try it...

    • @Michelle.Robinette

    I love watching your tutorials since my face has several of the same issues. I'm curious though. You commented that since you have worked with Demi, you now know that your entire under eye did not need color corrected. Will you change any of the way you applied IIID under your eye?

    Thanks for explaining the dark vs saturated. My under eye at first glance looks black, upon closer inspection they transition from dark & dull in the trough to a vibrant purple and each under eye doesn’t transition equally. Crazy! Yes I know. And depending on my allergies, the weather, etc the transition can change day to day. Some days my circles are black & straight across the lower lid or it can just be the trough & inner corner.

    Hi Sara, I have the originally maskcara highlighters. However, they are so dry and when I apply they (for lack of a better term) “pill” and “flake” as I apply. I am at my wits end of what to do. When I first bought them, I LOVE THEM. Honestly, I don’t wear makeup very often now because I am exclusively working from home due to COVID bc our office is temporarily closed. So I don’t use the highlighters daily, like I normally would, so now they are dry. Any suggestions to get them creamy again without compromising the product

Id love to have you pick the colors I need as I’m not wearing any makeup nowadays other than liner and mascara. It would be cool to also be an artist to help others use this! • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So yellow is for purple....for blue you need orange. But that's part of the learning curve is learning what shades are actually there. For blue, you need more saturation, yellow is a weak color, which is why you're only getting to green. To actually neutralize the EXCESS blue you have to go to orange. You need to add more saturation- go farther towards red, which is orange.
