Well, you came through at the right time again. I have really never enjoyed the feel of foundation on my skin and I am having the worst luck with my concealer looking cakey and dry and never truly concealing. It has been my experience that hair and beauty professionals with an art background do the best work. My cousin was also an illustrator who had her own salon (did fabulous hair) and for many years worked as an interior designer for folks needing their homes staged for sale. Brilliant!! You answered every question/concern I had about this product! Admittedly, I wrote this off as just another direct sales makeup company, those 3 min face tutorials aren’t doing any favors to anyone, most are sloppy & usually don’t look blended, hard to take seriously. It makes me feel much better knowing you (an established working pro mua) went into this just as skeptical, I also appreciate the honestly about not loving every product….that’s just realistic to me. I’m SO impressed, the Demi actually color corrects without layers of additional concealer/foundation). Those colors absolutely don’t look like they will blend so seamlessly … color theory wins yet again:)
Thanks Beth! Yes, I was SUPER skeptical and avoided it for years. No one looked blended and as a 25 year artist, a seamless blend is key! But I really love it

Don’t be disappointed with the Seint makeup if you’re not using Seint brushes… Speaking from experience I to thought I’d use my stash of Brushes (not cheap brushes either) but I quickly found out… Seint brushes make such a difference.

I’m sorry, Iris, it’s because you have to be certified to sell Demi and I am. It’s a product that works beautifully but needs to be taught because of the color science. Please email me your bare faces selfie, 2-3 feet from facing a window, shoulders up and phone eye level. Tell me what distractions you want to camouflage and if you wanted added coverage or just the bare skin look

Wow!! I discovered seint when she was maskcara. Had a hard time getting used to the cream. Years went by….. tried to use it again. Got colored matched.. thought that the brushes was the key! 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 yes!!! Her brushes for some odd reason works better … so now I’m trying to perfect it and I do love it but the Demi was so confusing to me!! And I’m so thankful for this tutorial bc I’m gonna definitely try it!! I’m 51 and got to change my ways as I get older

The purple in the eye areas and the red capillaries are literally the only things that I feel I need to cover some days and yet they are the most difficult things to cover. You may have solved my problem again! Thank you for all you do ❤️😊
Very intrigued by this. I'm 58 and have a broken capillary on my cheek that I have struggled to cover for years - don't want to laser it for fear it may get worse - nothing works because it's cakey and wears off in a few hours. Have troughs and dark circles under my eyes as well and holy crap the eye under work you did with the peach is amazing! WOW for the whole look and Thrive is the only mascara I use!!
I ordered some Demi colors. I have bluish with a little pinky and reddish around my nose and a bluish/green vein on my right temple a lot.. I’m fair with reddish undertones. First I have to say I love your videos! You are a great instructor. I really appreciate your expertise in the industry and your honest feedback related to products, not just SEINT. I had to re-watch this video before deciding on a yellow/green DEMI. I knew I had seen one of your videos explaining about your daughter's skin is cooler and she prefers the DEMI with more green VS what you like which looks more yellow. It's confusing that they call the greener of the two, the one your daughter likes YG01 and the more yellow that you like is GY01. I always figured the primary or the greater % of hue is noted first, so if that's true for DEMI, YG would be the one you like- the one that looks more yellow and the one that looks more green would be GY. Would love to hear your thoughts/explanation of why they seem reverse. PS- contacting you to order DEMI.
Actually, the first letter denotes how the second letter "leans". Maybe if you think of adding "ish" after the first letter, it would make more sense. So GY is Green"ish" Yellow; mainly yellow leaning to the green side. YG would be Yellow"ish" Green; mainly green leaning to the yellow side. Hope that helps.
I worked at a funeral home years ago and I've witnessed first hand how this type of color correction brings life back to the skin postmodern. I believe the products are wax based, they're made to have the slip like wax. I was amazed at what our embalmer could do with the dead and even more shocked a huge part of mortuary school is color and makeup. I'm interested in finding out who came up with the idea of wax for the living?
Remarkable story! Not sure who started it. Geisha probably. they always used wax primers and wax based colors with opacity. The French made some good pigmented waxes too. So do makeup companies who cater to Hollywood.

I was on the right track in my own little amateur way I bought the Bobbie Brown Corrector and it helps but you took this to a new level of peeling back the years, WOW!
I bet Bobbi's is great but the problem with most traditional color correctors is they're meant to layer and layering equals aging. I'm shocked by this product and process too. I've never seen anything like it!
Happy new year dear Michelle! That wax colours look amazing! Lastly I bought KRYOLAN camouflage which I can also recommend for dark spots, which I have. For concealer and brighting I use RMS which I love, it's invisible on my very dry and very mature skin. You are so sympatic and beautiful! I trust every single word you tell us. Great new video. @@sbahar1010 Hallo dear, it is a professional cover for every dark spots, tattoos, etc. and is water resistant. I have dark spots on my face and cover it up very good, love it. No normal concealer.
You are right about the changes that occur each decade. I look at your under eye in this video and think that you have hardly any discoloration and nothing that qualifies as a “bag” or swelling under the eyes. Here’s a suggestion that you can play around with and that is to put a very light color directly into the bottom of the nasiolabial lines. The darkness that marks the line disappears (It’s the reverse of the heavy lid coloring.) and if the texture of this demi color is as good as you say, you shouldn’t see it there either.
@@maturemakeupmasterclass ok thanks!! Right now I am dealing with very very dry skin .. I’m in that menopause stage of life and so I love the 3D but it sits on top of the skin. Doesn’t look smooth. When I first tried it. It did great and now it’s just ok. I am using what my esthetician says. I go back next week and discuss more with her and what we need to do during summer months. But basically all I’m wearing right now is tinted sunscreen.. so if this color correcting helps. It will be wonderful

I haven't worn makeup in a looong time and I've spent so much money hunting for something natural looking but flattering. I do like the typology tinted serum. Curious about transfer on face masks and how to remove the makeup at the end of the day. Looking forward to watching more and trying my new products!
I always use a cleansing balm, see Heimish on Amazon, then finish with a gentle gel cleanser as my second step. I do this regardless of if I wear makeup or not, its called the double cleanse. If you use a good setting spray, this won't transfer, I wore this makeup to work, long 8-10 hour days in a mask, almost zero transfer but I use Charlotte Tilbury.
I am sold on Demi after watching this! Wow! So natural,so beautiful!😍 Texture is my issue.....I need this in my life! Lol Seriously though, what a difference. It looks so good, just beautiful.

You're lovely and young at 54. At 73, I'm wondering if the Demi will look as good on on someone with more lines, wrinkles and creases than you have. I have not seen any videos on TH-cam of someone in their late 60's and up trying the Demi. Love watching and learning from you.
That is such a great question. Let me try it on my dad's wife, she's almost 70. There is a money back guarantee and since it's wax, will look like skin, never dry or cakey
I think Bobbie Brown has something very similar. It's a small duo compact, one side ihas a orrector and the other side is concealor. I don't know if she still makes iit. This was decades ago.

I’d like to see if you could cover my veins in my face. They are so noticeable. I have light skin like you but always had veins under eyes that made it look like dark shadows. I’ve tried so many things to correct and cover them. Also big veins in my forehead like a weight lifter almost.
The one thing we don’t see here is how you’re loading your brush. I know it’s second nature for a professional, but it would definitely be helpful for us, and could be a great short-form video!

I'm loving your channel, your honesty, and your passion for helping us more mature (61) still look beautiful. I am wondering what can I do first thing in the morning about my CPAP lines and redness? Some of my redness will be gone if about an hour, a couple of hours for the lines. I also have very dark circles around my entire eye. What do you suggest. There is a learning curve but once you get a routine, this is gorgeous and skin like.

also, I saw when you covered the reddish-purple on the outside of your eye it actually "lifted" the outer area!
I know! It’s illusion!!!! But close up you can’t see it because the wax has a sheen like skin! It’s brilliant!

I bought the Bobbie Brown Corrector and it helps but you took this to a new level of peeling back the years, WOW!
I bet Bobbi's is great but the problem with most traditional color correctors is they're meant to layer and layering equals aging. I'm shocked by this product and process too. I've never seen anything like it!

Lastly I bought KRYOLAN camouflage which I can also recommend for dark spots, which I have. For concealer and brighting I use RMS which I love, it's invisible on my very dry and very mature skin. Is kryolan camouflage a cream or a concealer? I have dark spots in my face and want to try that?
@@sbahar1010 Hallo dear, it is a professional cover for every dark spots, tattoos, etc. and is water resistant. I have dark spots on my face and cover it up very good, love it. No normal concealer.

You are right about the changes that occur each decade. I look at your under eye in this video and think that you have hardly any discoloration and nothing that qualifies as a “bag” or swelling under the eyes. Here’s a suggestion that you can play around with and that is to put a very light color directly into the bottom of the nasiolabial lines. The darkness that marks the line disappears (It’s the reverse of the heavy lid coloring.) and if the texture of this demi color is as good as you say, you shouldn’t see it there either.

@@maturemakeupmasterclass ok thanks!! Right now I am dealing with very very dry skin .. I’m in that menopause stage of life and so I love the 3D but it sits on top of the skin. Doesn’t look smooth. When I first tried it. It did great and now it’s just ok. I am using what my esthetician says. I go back next week and discuss more with her and what we need to do during summer months. But basically all I’m wearing right now is tinted sunscreen.. so if this color correcting helps. It will be wonderful

I always use a cleansing balm, see Heimish on Amazon, then finish with a gentle gel cleanser as my second step. I do this regardless of if I wear makeup or not, its called the double cleanse. If you use a good setting spray, this won't transfer, I wore this makeup to work, long 8-10 hour days in a mask, almost zero transfer but I use Charlotte Tilbury.

You're lovely and young at 54. At 73, I'm wondering if the Demi will look as good on on someone with more lines, wrinkles and creases than you have. I have not seen any videos on TH-cam of someone in their late 60's and up trying the Demi. Love watching and learning from you.

I think Bobbie Brown has something very similar. It's a small duo compact, one side ihas a orrector and the other side is concealor. I don't know if she still makes iit. This was decades ago.

I’d like to see if you could cover my veins in my face. They are so noticeable. I have light skin like you but always had veins under eyes that made it look like dark shadows. I’ve tried so many things to correct and cover them. Also big veins in my forehead like a weight lifter almost.
The one thing we don’t see here is how you’re loading your brush. I know it’s second nature for a professional, but it would definitely be helpful for us, and could be a great short-form video!

I'm loving your channel, your honesty, and your passion for helping us more mature (61) still look beautiful. I am wondering what can I do first thing in the morning about my CPAP lines and redness? Some of my redness will be gone if about an hour, a couple of hours for the lines. I also have very dark circles around my entire eye. What do you suggest.
