Brilliant thank you .i recently got a refurbished s22 ultra of amazon ... the small lens you replaced in the video was missing but the double sided tape was still present. Amazon have kindly reimbursed me and i feel confident in attempting to fix the lens myself with your video. I will let you know how it goes . Wish me luck 😅
Isn't this best done in a clean room (or at least a highly ventilated area), where no dust can get in between the lens and the glass? On the video it seems a lot of dust and particles got onto the lens. This could cause glare issues when the particles start moving around from being in your pocket, and then sticking to the back of the glass.
Yes. I say yes to this question because after you have done this or any repair there's no scientific way you can confirm it is water resistant to the proper specs ip68. I recommend avoiding Submerging the phone in water specially....light rain should be fine for a very limited amount of time.
Hey man. Thank you for the video. How's the quality of the photos after the repair?. I'm worried it's gonna take a hit after the repair. Also, were the glass shards all removed using just the air blower?
If you do it right all pieces of glass should be removed and minimal dust, glass etc...on the camera. If you're scared to try this you can replace the back glass entirely it's easier and there's extremely limited risks for the cameras.
@ersbit Thank you. I ordered the original Service Pack replacement from Mobile Sentrix. It came today, and fixing it was easy with the help of your other video. Mine had glass shards in the camera sensor. It would have been difficult to clean that without removing the glass. Looks perfect now

Thank you so much! Just changed mine out based on your instructions.
Thanks for this very helpful video. Looks easy enough. Man if you take this to a fix it shop, they'd probably charge like 200 just for this.

Why do I need to purchase 2 different camera lens kits? Or do I just need to purchase one theme 2? TY
Great Video and nicely explained
Does it compromise the water resistance ?

i just did this to my phone and so far it looks all good, would definitely recommend. its actually indistinguishable
Exactly, there should not be any issues with the cameras. If there's any problems something went wrong during the replacement process!

How much for replacing a piece of glass?
Whats the cost for this ?
Check the description for everything I used. Most of them are on Amazon
might as well replace the whole back
Yes that's another way of fixing it for a few dollars more.
