    Thankyou same problem on my c250. The c230 and c250 have the same engine technically (one is supercharged the other has a turbo).
    No it's the starter you can put a jump wire or use the relay taking the plastic top off. After you crank the key to the start position. Pull the 7.5 fuse in the back of drivers side engine bay fuse box. Wait a second or two then re-instert the fuse. Press the side of the relay or use the jump wire. If it doesn't crank it's the starter.
    Sorry you had to do the job twice, you are one hell of a mechanic!

    Really surprising, a bad starter & no comm, but the car runs after replacing the starter motor😉

    Great to see you back Maic. I hope you also continue with the computer repair classes.they were very good and I don't know about anyone else following but they were a great escape for myself. Up here in NY they were saving my sanity. Put the political crap aside and it great to keep on learning. Thank you Maic and keep yourself and family well. 🙏❤️

    Hi Maic, I have this exact same problem on my 2003 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor. Thank you for sharing the videos. I know what to check first now. Hope a new starter works.

      Probably the battery terminal wire i just got a c230 that didnt start unless w a jumper but it was the connection it was or amd worn out

    I’d bench test both the old and new starter before installing it in the car.

      Bench testing the starter won't help because it's an unloaded test it possibly will rotate but not under load .

    I noticed the Bosch sticker on the new starter. Was it a new or reman unit? Hopefully your supplier covers the R&R labour.

    No Turn No Start seems to be Common Fault with Mercedes , Rover went Bust because it could not re design a Decent Head Gasket For their excellent K Engine.

    it is 2004 c230 have the same symptoms with 1998 c230, why the benz car company can't avoid it?

    I have a 2000 C 230 Kompressor that wont run but it turns over. there is no spark and no fuel pump but the fuel pump will work if i jump the relay Ive tried the 38 pin connecter to a snap on scanner and a handheld scanner hooked under the dash in the odb II port and it says no comunication on both. The car sat for 5 years with no battery in it, all the fuses in all 3 boxes have 12 volts when the key is in the run position except for a 45 amp fuse that is for some smog air pump , I think the ecm is dead , everything works on the car windows sunroof lights power seats rado fans ect but no spark, there is 12 volts at each ignition coil but no pulses to fire the coils i changed the crankshaft sensor and cam sensor and it made no difference. The computer is just not working

    mr zalasar twngo un C240 2001 pero el mecanico lo chequeo , Pero anterior le cambiamos el pedaldel Freno el swich lock y el trabajo por tres semanas , Pero Hace lo Misno que en Tu Video Muestras, Lo lleve A Otra Mecabicoy me Dice que es el Start swich, me Explico como Puentarlo negativo, Positivo y la Punta Hacia el Fluxible y Darlo push al Boton y Prendio.

    Hello, I have a 2005 Mercedes Benz C3204 Matic. It’s an automatic, and I have put a new alternator and battery in four months ago so hopefully those should still be good, but recently my car will not start it won’t even click so I checked the starter fuse that is OK but the really I have no idea if that’s bad or not so I made a jumper from watching a video online and it still doesn’t start so I boiled it down to the starter, do you have any other suggestions. Also, I can’t find anywhere online how to remove the starter, some say that I have to remove the steering rod and some say that I have to remove the exhaust I’m confused.

      If Mercedes have No Turn No Start Faults foot over 20 years why can’t fix it or at the very least tell you you how to fix it . Why isn’t it even a Recall !

    I have the same car and the same problem no crack no starter and the fuse 52 Bad, i reeplace the fuse but still dont starter but the fuse dont have power so i reemplace the starter and nothing. I need help please
