I am getting back into card collecting because of you and watching your channel! I come from the days where we were after the Score Balck & White Bo Jackson, that was the card to have and of course the Hoops Michael Jordan with him putting up the pointer finger, I was saving my lunch money that was supposed to be buying lunch and would eat cup of noodles for .35 cents. Unfortunately those were the worst years to buy cards, but not really because the Fleer Michael Jordan was $400-$600 and then I remembered it being $1800 and I was like dang thats and expensive card, now seeing the same card sell for $800,000 is just insane and then seeing Pat Mahomes book 1 of 1 out of a Flawless Briefcase be worth $1 million and that rookie for Dallas Luca going for $3.12 million then they sold it for $5 million. I really like how these card companies have done only a few of the cards like sets of 5 or 25 ect, and how they incorporate a piece of the Jersey, a real diamond and having the player sign the card its just AMAZING what they are doing now and I definitely want to get back into it, now I have adult money to actually buy some lol the Flawless I seen were like $1500 and now they are selling for $20,000 and you have Drake the rapper dude buying up like 20 briefcases. I don't know how they can even sell the briefcases for $20,000 if there's a $1 million dollar card in there. Thanks for getting me hooked again buddy. I also trade in the market as well!!!
Geoff seems to be a pretty good boss. Every boss I have ever had would never even consider spreading the wealth or the fun. You should do more team rips like this one. This was a fun vodeo to watch. Keep the content coming.

Great video. I have a ton of these metal universe cards that I collected back when they first came out. Sold the Kobe when he first died. I sold all my Kobe Cards when he first died. Best investment turn around I ever made.

The 2 Jordan base cards were by far the most valuable pulls at about $30 each raw
You need to do this same video but for the 1997-98 metal universe box!!! You might get one of the very hard championship galaxy inserts. MJ, kobe, Shaq, iverson, pippen to name a few. I believe the odds are 1:2880
The 1997-98 MU Championship is fairly attainable, but that 1997 MU non-championship is some seriously rare stuff. Definitely one of the rarest basketball boxes available.
Anyone ever seen a sealed box for sale? I look fairly consistently but have never seen one. Actually, until the past month or so I'd never found a single PACK for sale online...

Sean Elliott started not too long after David Robinson's NBA career began, so closer to his seventh or eighth year. Really, closer to the end than the beginning.
I was waiting for the Iverson card. You were all trippin on the jordan card there are psa 9's for sale for less than i make in a day, I was guessing that was at least a 5k card with those reactions, am I missing something? or is it that it just gonna climb in value over time?

I love this channel!
I worked with at-risk youth in the ’90s, and we used basketball cards to help them work on positive behaviors. As incentives, we had them work for packs of cards. The students loved the idea, and it was very successful. I have three or four large boxes of bball cards (not old new stock), hockey(my sport), and football cards. I would love to see if any cards have value and see if I can donate the value back to the school that still runs today. I also have a ton of Becket’s magazines if they have any value. I am looking for help or suggestions but thanks for a great channel.
I bought so many of these card when they 1st came out…they were relatively inexpensive with nice cards. Most of mine are stored away in boxes. I have to go back and revisit them…..who could have guessed!

A 97-98 Metal Universe box, PMG edition has still never been broke on YT...
I thoroughly enjoyed this...nothing like ripping packs with friends/co-workers...etc.

I remeber endlessly ripping this for elusive hits and if I remember Tim Duncan or maybe it was Vince Carter or tmac. Fun stuff watching how well those packs became ridiculously valuable the past few years. Nuts. I have a shoe box full of the leftovers and a complete set. A few Jordan's, but no gem. I think my gem I did hit was someone much much lesser. Like a Tony battie. Grade the checklist. Funny stuff. Both Jason Jayson Williams were solid players. I bet there are zero graded autograph checklists. Corner the market. Grade them. That grant hill is awesome. Never hit a card like tgat in any of the boxes I hit. I'd check the back of the card in front of it. Maybe the image jumped ship.

I have 5-6 full sets of 250 cards of the 1997 metal universe baseball cards.
Then I have all the special inserts but only missing 5/12 mother load cards.
I cherry picked the best card of every player since I have 5-6 of ever card so it should be a 10 💎 set only missing 5 mother loads.
What is the value I can’t find a full set anywhere on line.

Imagine getting that blank Sam Cassel one as a Jordan or Kobe, would probably be so valuable.
I was going to spend a lot of money on my kids college tuition, but, I think I may have to drop it all on Lamelo Refractors and have her work a few months at Mickey D's instead. The market just has wayyyy to much upside right now. Anything serial #'d in PSA 10 is A BUY!!!!
