I really like the white scars, they feel much less "sterile" than the other marine chapters. They sound like they'd be actually funny to talk to and be capable of partying without freaking out and butchering everyone for heresy.
Another cool aspect I think is that while they're not sterile they're very stable. They've always been reliable allies, and since the heresy have never had any great schisms or conflicts with other Imperials.
Well narrated with grace and passion. The White Scars are a very underrated Founding Chapter in my opinion. I still think they'll find Jagatai one day. Thank you for another great narration:)

It seems GW/BL IP continuously flaunt the 'skin of their teeth' narrative for the Imperium's existence or confrontations. It's really getting old and honestly is quite shallow. I feel that the Alpha Legion share much in off the battlefield philosophy even if their battlefield tactics are highly opposed save for The Harrowing tactic they use. So truth be told I find the white scares to be terribly boring. I of course want to learn more of them but I have always hated they are “ mysterious” but are really just under developed and that is supposed to be a character trait. I want stories of how they think of other chapters who are not Raven Guard or how they wage war with chapters who are similar to them.
I was curious how youd do the white scars. I assumed it would of been from an imperial scribe PoV but I'm pleased you made the attempt to do it from the scars PoV themselves and tried the accent BL has given them.

People always say the White Scars are just space Mongols and in a lot of ways they are but... do any of them understand what that means?? The Mongols created earths largest empire almost by accident! They really did just want to go fast so badly they ran to the ends of the earth, as well as wanting a good fight and finally, truly linking East and West, North and South...
Completely unrelated wishful suggestion for a future faction to cover: Don’t forget the Sisters of Silence! They’re more on the obscure side of things but they’re such a cool faction with great characters. Would love to see a baldemort style video about them eventually ;))))
I've always seen the White Scars as the loyalist equivalent of the Night Lords. Kinda like how the Imperial Fists are the loyalist equivalent of the Iron Warriors.

God, that was amazing. The narrative you spun was a worthy tale of rivalry, and final litany of titles and roles they eventually undertake tells its own story, especially with the implication that each time they changed roles, they still crossed paths and blades. The White Scars a cool idea that sadly has less material than other Chapters. I do like that they are one of the Chapters described as having hobbies and interests outside their duties, such as poetry and painting. They might be savage hunters, but they also have class and character as they do the Emperor's Work.

That ending was magnificient!!! Suggestion, I've never seen a video on the psuedo marines. Folks like Luthor, Erebus, and KP who were already full grown humans by the time of the great crusade Not even sure if enough lore is out there to even make a video.

And while I still like the savage Viking thing they have going on, after reading/hearing about the burning of Prospero… Are, like a lot of people, find myself liking the White Scars and the Salamanders because, while they’re still totally capable of wrecking shop, when needs must Colma, they have managed to hold onto their humanity, for lack of a better term.

When I started in 40k, I started with the Space Wolves. After going through all the legions and major chapters, the White Scars are becoming one of my favorites. I am one of those that holds a resentment towards the Ultramarines not because their lore is bad but because the other chapters get less attention as a result. I've even grown a little annoyed at my first army, the Space Wolves, as it seems they have the most unique units when other chapters should have their own handful of units. I would love to build an army of White Scars with every single unit on a bike. Unfortunately this is so cost prohibitive at the moment I simply can't afford to do it. The only kit readily available is the outriders. If I'm to have a captain on bike, chaplain on bike, techmarine, apothecary, librarian, ancient, champion, veterans, scouts... that's just a lot of bikes and a lot of conversions. I want my "cavalry" chapter damnit.
The Western Europeans come from indo europeans that were nomads of the Eurasian steppe. Where you get hun and mongol culture from. They were the first to ride horses and invented the wheel,axel,chariot,compound bow, domesticated animals, agriculture and spread outwards.

I think it’s that their continued contact with their native culture on Chogoris keeps them more grounded than other Astrates

If I'm to have a captain on bike, chaplain on bike, techmarine, apothecary, librarian, ancient, champion, veterans, scouts... that's just a lot of bikes and a lot of conversions.
