    That red light in the robot's chest does remind of the robots in "evil mode" in the movie "I, robot". :-)

    Why should I pretend that this thing is able to walk? It's been 63 years after creation of the first robot and they are still making humanoid robots that look like a disabled centenarian hanged on a rope .

    No hating or anything but it looks pretty basic compared to Boston Dynamics' robots. Their biped robot walks over snow in a hill without falling, it's amazing to watch.

    • @bobthorn6205
      @bobthorn6205 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, they said they tried several types of mobility, wheels, etc. Why does it need anything like that in space? Maybe it needs rockets so it can float better?

    • @alexf6206
      @alexf6206 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bob Thorn its meant for the surface of mars. Not micro gravity.

    • @alexf6206
      @alexf6206 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bob Thorn micro gravity robots are physically attached to the vessel. they dont fly around with rockets.

    So stupid to try to make it humanoid. Too high a centre of gravity. Make a quadruped or similar with multiple limbs, but perhaps with the ability to go 2 legged when required and so on. Put eyes on its ass end as well as limbs. Wont be pretty but will useful.

    Robots should NOT look like a human ... as they get ... smarter... we need to know we are talking to a person not a robot ... Robots must not have heads that resemble a human in any way !!!!
