Conversion therapy is a CRIME in Brazil, as a matter of fact Brazil was the first country to ban the practice all together. But… Unfortunately there’s still some places that do it by “tricking” the law, by calling something else and being “voluntary only” which is ridiculous but they still get away with it. Anyway, Brazil is a very weird place when it comes to LGBTQ+ acceptance, our laws are very good.We can marry, homophobia is a crime, trans people can have their gender affirming surgeries paid by the government, and a lot of other good things. But there’s still a lot of hate and violence, specially in small towns.
A guy does not need to undergo any therapy to be gay but need to go through a conversion therapy to be straight. You guys tell me which one is natural and which one is conditioned?
