Heard something similar recently: that you can either serve Purpose or Money but that it's hard to simultaneously serve both. That one imagines that one can serve both but that it then in practice doesn't go together. If I personally continue to spin on it I imagine that serving Money there may be a bit of Purpose involved, accidentally kind of, but that it would be ultimately unfulfilling. Serving Purpose obviously Money may come as a by-product, but the attention remains firmly focused on the Purpose. And trying to do both at the same doesn't work because they are completely different mindsets and are different priority-structures. I believe this is what you are saying although not quite as firmly, that there is some wiggle room (in my perception, which may be wrong however). You are completely in line with it in the 100'000 Purpose vs. 1'000'000 non-Purpose example though. But Money will always tempt, because it is the gateway to many many desires. So staying with Purpose unwaveringly will likely be far easier said than done. But I, like you, do confidently believe that this is definitely the way to go. Take or leave these thoughts as it suits you! It's a concept I am taking into consideration and sense there is something to, but I haven't thoroughly explores it myself yet. Could very well be much nuance to be found. All the best to your journey!!
